Made Univest Grand Prix (1.2 America Tour), cause read there is a lack of america tour races and this one (as a city circuit) is quick to be made.
Download
Add: The Races Homepage just links to the 2011 course and they are talking about the race "...will move forward with a dynamic new Grand Prix for 2012." So it's (for now) just hoping, that the course stays the same this year. |

Nice job again, and thanks Concerning the route, if we can't know the 2012 route until we get closer to the race date there's not much to do other than have the 2011 route
Btw, for such a flat race, which might end in a bunch sprint, perhaps it'd be better to have the finishing straight on wide roads, the feeling of the sprint is better then (something to keep in mind for the next stages)

Thanks again for the feedback.
Had a brief try to make the finishing straight (which is just 500 metres long) a "width 3" road which leads to a return of the "road point too close from intersection"-desaster which troubles me the whole creation process. Think a wider finishing straight can be done, but needs (at least) a more patient stagemaker. It's a nasty, closely spaced road network where they placed these two circuit courses. I bet the directeurs never played PCM themselves. |

i made my own version of this for pcm11
it is damned hard to make a wide finish straight, i could only do it with a glitch turn (like a hairpin with no deviation in road)
it is a tight course so this is more realistic and suits the racing better
also looks really nice

Cheers guys, I'm happy you liked it.
Irish National Time Trial Championship 2012
Like back in 2010 I used the Irish ITT for testing...
With the new ability to get rid of annoying border objects it seems possible to create a course which gives you (most of the time) the impression of being one street which can be rode both ways.
In the last pic some of the backlash can be found... half a crosswalk, half a finish line, stands just on one side of the road... In addition I left out some villages plus side roads and after the cyclists finished they cross the way of the new starters.
Anyway, technically it is a working time trial...

The screens are nice Indeed, the ability to take out border objects is very useful in situations like this

Some of the isolated buildings you place on the stage are so awesome. The factory in the 3rd screen looks almost real! Great job
