"All the teams got the same shirts during the tracks and the logos are all purples squares during the loading of a track, does someone knows why ? the description says " 75 teams incl. teamshirts, minishirts and teamlogos
- 338 sponsors incl. logos, jerseys and minishirts" so i'm wondering.."
i got the same problem... how do i fix it? |

Hi, I noticed that Christophe Peraud (AG2R) is missing . He will take part to The Tour de France !!! Could you please update the DB. Thx for your amazing great job !!

Hi DRAVMAN, i just checked but he is in the db for AG2R. Are you maybe in a second season and he transfered already? |

Quick question on your database
I can see that you have removed Contador from Saxobank, which is only sort of correct.
Contador was still free to run races at the beginning of the year and will be again at the Vuelta so perhaps you could readd him and then let the rest be up to the player.

@JacDK yes, i have seen this today aswell. We wanted to add him to Saxo Bank with an injury til August, but somehow that point slept past us :/ It has however been fixed for the next releas. THis was 'just' v0.5 to give the players a better basis than the local db that came with the game. Any mistake that are reported will help us. thank you |

Adding Banned Contador to RSM-news DB 2012 v0.5
In Pictures!
Okay so thought I would do this so everyone is able to make this change themselves instead of waiting for a new version. This is simple to do, and I'm going to use the same plan PCM.Daily did for their PCM11 DBs.
Step 1:
1: This is for PCM Fast Editor, go to the download page by clicking anywhere in this sentence. This is my preferred editor as it is the easiest to use (I think) there certainly are others that are able to do this though.
1a: Open PCM Fast Editor
Step 2:
2: Click "Database" in the top left corner, then "Open Database".
2a: Open the "RSM-news_DB2012_v0.5".cdb file; the location should be in a similar spot as the line in my picture shows.
Step 3:
3: Change the "Filter:" dropdown from "ID" to "Last Name"
Step 4:
4: Type in "Contador" in the blank field right of "Like" then click "Go!"
Step 5:
5: Click the "Team" dropdown and select "SaxoBank" (Note: Typing in "Sax" can make this easier)
Step 6:
6: Click the "Race" dropdown and select "Enecto Tour of Ben..." (Note: Typing in "Eneco" can make this easier)
Step 7:
7: Click the "State" dropdown and select "InRace". Then click on any field that is not a dropdown and double check that steps #5-7 are correct.
Step 8:
8: Click "Database" in the top left, then select "Save Database" CAUTION: This will overwrite the database, and cannot be undone (without more editing) once "Save Database" is clicked. If you would like to save it as a different name and not overwrite the database, click "Save Database As" then type in a new name and click Save.

Nice guide Kentaurus, pictures help a lot indeed However, the PCMDaily DB does not change Contador's state to "inrace". Don't know what will happen, but well at least it's not needed.
And btw, step 7 leads to an infinite loop, since each time your reach the end of step 7 you need to recheck 5-7, which will get you back to 7 and order you to recheck 5-7, which will..

The InRace as far as I understand keeps the user from being able to add that rider to a race prior to the selected race (So if someone were to play with Saxobank). I think if it is as normal at "Free" they could actually still select him to race other races...not sure though.
About the infinite loop, if you can't get past it not my problem

Just tested, you can't select Contador even when playing with SaxoBank. So I guess it doesn't really matter between in race or free.

- now more teams
- remove old riders
- add young riders
- some bugfixes!
Compatible with patch 1.1.0.3, but reinstaller the db after install the patch.

Great database, but I'm having real issues with the pink logos and all the teams with the same jerseys. I have tried reinstalling numerous times (as system administrator) and into different file paths but nothing worked. Had a similar problem with PCM10 a few years ago, and fixed it by changing Local.cdb about, but that hasn't worked this time.
Could anybody help me out? I've a feeling it's something to do with the file path but I'm not sure. Thanks!! |

There is only ONE path where you have to install this DB into: It is the folder where you also installed the game. Look for the file called PCM.exe if you are not sure. |
