I think fcancellara is talking about the custom team feature, because there is no other way to select riders when starting a career. And if I understood you correctly, you are not creating your team by the Custom team feature, right?
To assign riders to your team in an editor, just put your team ID (see DYN_team) in the riders fkIDteam table (DYN_cyclist). That's all! Simple and easy

You are right, I am making one using lachi's editor
Now I only need to make my race and then I will start my story on here |

Well, you need to fill something in the 3 equipment columns, just copy it from any other team (preferably small otherwise you'll get some teams real equipment). No need for favoured races.
Are you sure you've selected your DB in Options -> Database? If you have then I think you haven't added your team correctly.

OK I will just copy the team above me...
I am just adding it onto the pcmdaily database which is running currently but I will double check if it is loaded now...
What about Rider Orientation? Does that need filling in?

Yes. You can see what type of rider which number corresponds to in STA_type_rider. However, with the team being controlled by you, I don't think it'll have any influence in game.

Oh ok...
My game won't let me choose any database except 'custom.cbd'
I select the others but if I check the database again then it has reverted to 'custom.cbd' |

The trick is to select the DB and never come back to the DB selection screen. PCM 11 has this small bug that every time you go back to the DB selection screen, it'll select the first DB on the list. So you either select your DB and don't enter that page anymore or you add a dot "." or a number sign "#" etc to the beginning of your DB's name so it'll appear in the top of the list.

Ah ok Thanks for pointing that out...

Is there a way to change a riders salary?
I was thinking of signing Valverde (but making him injured for season 1) and then using him from season 2 but paying him 10 000 less than normal because he would be worth less after a drugs ban.
How do I make him injured as well? |

Contracts are in DYN_contract_cyclist, injuries in DYN_injury. |

Thanks
They are both empty for me which confused me, do I do it once I have started the save or can I do it before (I use Lachi's editor) |

Injuries before, contracts after. For injuries, this should help you (just take care this is for the doping injury which was presented on earlier Daily DBs - not present on the PCM 11 DB.

Ok thanks
I will call it any old injury as it can't be doping (Chipped Nail if that exists ) |

It can be called doping, you just need to do more edits in the DB (including the Local.cdb), so it can be quite tricky.

You can do both the injuries and contracts in the save-game. And instead of making a new injury, just let Valverde be injured by any of the existing injuries. |

I will try and do it the simplest way so will leave it
I keep getting an error what ever value I use for fkIDformated_string
What should go there? |
