Is there any way to join up two points when laying road, it keeps putting a line between point but no road, just a gap |

Is there anyway to make a race which has stages which aren't on consecutive days? I wanted to make a TT World Cup style thing (like the Track World Cup or Revolution). Would it be possible to have say one stage a month for multiple months? |

I dont think so.
I dont think the game would be able to handle it. If you mean f.e. having races every other day, you could try putting a rest day in the middle, but I dont know how to do that, or if its possible.

In theory that would work - but any riders taking part would not be able to take part in any other races during that period. Make a stage race with 4 stages, then give them the dates you want, and I believe the game will automatically place rest days on the days inbetween. (Youd have to check that though)

Thanks for replying, that's a shame but I may try and work around it...

Oh if they can't race in other races then I won't do it, I may try it every other day (like Valverde suggested) or at some point in the off season though |

If you want to test it, I suggest sticking the race into a database, setting the dates to January, and then see what happens. Youll soon see how the game reacts to it.

Good idea, I may do it using a few of TT's already in the game before I make some
I will try it when I get a free night this week |

I thought I would BUMP this again instead of making a new thread and after searching nothing could answer my question. I was wondering how you can use the Roubaix Velodrome in a race. I have added it into stage editor but can't get the route to go round it. Do I need to add some road on it or what? |

You need to connect a road with the entrance of the velodrome, and then just set the route normally.

Yes (just change to spline camera and you'll see).

Ah good, its fine now
My tour is coming along nicely
EDIT: How to I make a spiral in the road?
So you go under a bridge and then do a loop before going over the bridge, when I add the bridge, both roads are at the same level

Also how do you change the width of a bridge?
I have a road which is 4 wide but then goes down to 2 at the bridge |

You should change the road height for the bridge. And it's not possible to change width, only 1 and 2 'voies' are possible (= not possible to make wide bridges).

how do I change the road height? Just click the road point and then drag the arrow which goes up?
Oh ok, I will leave all the road thin then |

Yes, but make sure that you do not have the option "Snap objects to landscape" marked.

Ah ok, that will be my problem
How much detail (Cities+Fields+Forests) do I need to add for a good looking stage?
So far I have only added cities around start/sprints/finish
Thanks once again |

Well normally the stage makers try to cover the whole route with fields/forests, and some cities in it. Something you can do here to answer you question better is to open some stages in the Stage Viewer and take a look in them
