Cook
Good race though, 3rd isn't too bad, next season I think Sylvain should target a classification though.
I love that facebook thing matt.

Ostrava Circuit nearing. Read the preview here.
I hope I can do the race on Thursday or Friday, so I could post the World Champs preview Friday evening at the latest -- and do the World Champs report on Sunday. If all goes well |

Ostrava Circuit!
Enjoy the report. Will probably post the WC preview tomorrow so we can have the race this weekend!
Exciting times! |

Oh and ouch in the UCI Ranking.
Place 30 gets to go to the WC. Place 31 doesn't.
The difference? 1 point.
Tough luck, real tough |

Enjoying reading the reports as ever.
Cook grabbing the Coca - Cola Cup is really nice. He was up there for that one.
Intriguing form going into the Worlds. Francis Vague in particular is looking leggy to say the least - love that it could be any number of riders he has the legs.
Thanks Ian - hope to give a nice Cookie dose soon !

Kloet in the worlds I guess the race is decided now
Fine race from Sylvain, he was just races for a final chance in rainbow and not really for the win.
Hopefully he can win the worlds though.

How many SP races has Milan skipped and still 8th Might target it next year.
And good to see only Milan and Dao skipping Ostrava for Worlds

Giro il Lombardia
Come on Ian
Cool report though
Matt in a great shape ahead of the Strade Bianche WC, he just had to surrender to a superior Cornelis, and to his sand-related weaknesses, even though I liked his racing spirit! The guy is learning the basic tactics heh. M2tt M2zz2r2lli new nickname incoming? Nah will wait for Siena for that
Thanks Ian!

I'm so excited about the world's now Kloet next rainbow jersey!
I'm really liking Sylvain's chances as well, but I can only hope...
Although I may have some internet issues over the next few weeks, hopefully not, but maybe. So if I'm not really posting it's because I'm not here or I've only got phone/tablet and keep losing all my progress when I write a post, but. I'll try.
There's a certain myth about his ultrapeaks by now in the peloton.
... I'm wondering what Vague is implying here...

Whether Dao will be starting in the WC is still a mystery. Injured or playing it smart? We'll see.
Thanks guys, appreciate all the nice words from you and always motivates me to make my reports as good as I can.
Very psyched about the Worlds. Will post the preview tomorrow and I can't wait to read some reactions!
Also kudos to the Game Thread posts. These last few months they have been excellent, no less. The characters are really coming to life for me, and that's just amazing. Thanks. |

I think it's just that Lipawsky has the reputation of having a few super peaks during the season, instead of riding steadily all through the season, like Cook.
And with the WC approaching... People will automatically watch out for Lipawsky's famed superpeak
Well that's what I make of it, anyway. |

Really no implication here, Ian has couple of times mentioned Sylvain's abilitiy to hit 100% at the exact right date.

Yeah ok, I was honestly wondering if that was implying doping or just about his ability to peak.
Sylvain won't be nearly as much of a dark horse as last year...
I'll try to make a game thread post before the preview, but I might not be able to, it depends if I have internet and time tonight.
+1 what jandal said as well.

Every post in the game thread is making me more excited. Thanks Ian for the startlist although Ferdi Kloet is Dutch I think, just based off a Swiss rider.

Riders who didn't make the World Championship selection but are still 23 years old or younger can also apply to take part in the U23 World Championship race.
Registration is required, though. You can do that by posting below. We are now in February 2016 so your rider should be born after February 1992 to be eligible.
Additionally, riders selected for the Worlds aren't allowed in the U23 race. |
