Soooo played PCM for the first time in over a month. Turns out it isn't half bad
The OP ING is getting less and less OP though, as I slowly release all the original riders...
Also, I genuinely prefer stage making, but once I've made one, I can't make another in the same sitting. How weird is that? |

You know that you can also play PCM without the ING team? Maybe that helps?
Try a random small nationality then(I know you love to do that), like Indonesia, Moldavia, Eritrea or maybe, who knows, Iceland

Decided to start a Garmin career, midway through March and enjoying things so far. Martin, Hesjedal and Langeveld are all doing well with their seasons underway, with Talansky being held back for the Romandie and the Giro.
Season started off well with Slagter taking 5th overall at TDU, due to a podium on the Willunga stage, which had some great crosswinds. Martin then got 3rd overall at Mallorca and 8th at Algarve. Langeveld then got a solid 7th at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
Early March saw Martin lead at Paris-Nice and Hesjedal at Tirreno. We won the opening TTT in Italy (Simulated) which helped Hesjedal to 5th overall. At P-N Martin struggled to overcome Valverde and Rodriguez a bit and ended up a disappointing seventh.
Raced Milan-Sanremo today, and Martin once more lead the team. He attacked on the Cipressa with Valverde, Gilbert, Moreno and Cancellara. Spartacus attacked away on the Poggio and was too strong, and eventually Martin sprinted to fourth. Now in Catalunya Martin is fighting for the GC, hoping for at least a podium.
Consistent results have lead to us being 1st in the WT ranking, even after just 2 wins. The CQ ranking I think gives a more realistic reflection of our success with us seventh. I'd be happy with a top ten this year.
CQ Ranking - 7th (Martin 10th individual)
WT Ranking - 1st (Martin 7th Individual) |

I think I'm one of those people, who needs to 'know' their team. I just can't play unless I know my team and my plan inside out, eg. I can do everyone's objectives without clicking back and forward Unfortunately it takes a while to do this, which is probably why I've only ever done it once, with Rabobank-OUI-Banesto-ING. |

Well I just won the Tour with Kloden. Gerdemann should have won, but I had a 4min gap to Kloden who was in 2nd and a 6min gap to 3rd place which was Conta at the time. Simmed one stage and Gerdemann lost 12minutes so Kloden became the leader... Thankfully I had him.
Gerdemann slowly got time back with 2 mountain stages left and a Mountain TT.
The final Mountain stage was just amazing though. 2007 Tour Stage 7 all over again. Attacked 2 mountains from the finish. Had 2 minute lead over the final summit, needing 4'06 to get yellow and he ended up 4'01 ahead of the Kloden group. It was so close, but a 1-2 is also amazing!

An update on my Trek Factory Racing save.
Cancellara won 3 stages of 3 Days of De Panne with Nizzolo winning the other.
Finished 2nd at the Tour of Flanders, poor positioning led to Devolder dropping Cancellara. Boonen won.
2nd at Paris Roubaix, attacked too late to and was outsprinted by Boonen in the velodrome.
Frank Schleck placed 6th at Amstel Gold Race, 7th at Le Fleche Wallone and 7th at Liege Bastogne Liege.
Currently about to start the Giro.
Also currently Rast has 2 stages of the 4 days of Dunkerque with Danny Van Poppel winning 3. Rast won overall.
I had planned to take Nizzolo to the Giro but he is injured so I have a weak team at the first GT of the season.

Thought three 77's would do
Decided to take a slightly different plan to usual and put my main season peaks between Paris-Nice and Pais Vasco. Only ever going to get a Top10 in the GT's why not use some extra fitness and try and win the early stage races.
Van Garderen finished 3rd in Paris-Nice, winning a stage, then 7th in Catalunya and finally 9th in Pais Vasco
Hesjedal finished 10th in Tirreno-Adriatico, winning a stage, then 10th in Pais Vasco having skipped Catalunya
Talansky finished 5th in Paris-Nice, then 5th in Catalunya winning a stage and finally he won, 1st, Pais Vasco winning another stage.
Overall the plan worked perfectly as we've comfortably gained enough points to survive and built a base to challenge the Top5 at the end of the season.
On the flip side Thomas flopped. He crashed on his first race day in Qatar, broke his skull and hence missed all of the cobbled races. Farrar took over as leader and did ok with Top30's in RVV and Roubaix. He also Top10'd a selection of the easier classics.
Update:
Hesjedal finished 2nd in AGR with Thomas 6th place on his return to racing
Hesjedal finished 5th in Fleche
Finally Hesjedal finished 2nd in LBL

I meant the Bulgarian, which you were quite crazy about at some point.
Hmm, putting all your cards on the early stage-races might not be the smartest idea, should've saved a leader solely for the GTs, I suppose. TvG would be best, though he probably has his ''old'' stats there, ofc
Anyway:
Unipol Cycling Team
After taking a break for a while, I've got a new career to play. A CT team, but a strong one. Never really focussed on those hilly Italian 1.1 races, so it's time for that. Along with some nice other races, like Valle D'Aosta of course.
Here's the team:
Zardini & Zordan(Yeah, I'll mix them up tons of times) are great riders for CT. Pagani & cool regen Bosi will take care of the mountains, and also hills if necassary.
Dell'Antonia is a great guy in breaks, hope he'll take home a few wins as well. Or KoM jerseys, that's also ok.
Promotion? Maybe, who knows? We'll see how it goes. If it's possible, yes, but no harm done if we miss it.
Unipol has a sweet jersey pack btw, Brianza did a nice job there.
Team will be Italian (obviously), with a minor focus on Spain.

In my Garmin career Martin finished 2nd at Catalunya, where he and Contador ambushed Froome and Horner on the final stage. Hesjedal won the Criterium Int. due to a last stage victory on the mountain stage, which got some nice points.
Langeveld lead the cobbles, getting 7th at the Ronde. He then did disappointingly at Roubaix and ended 14th but made up for that at Brabantse Pijl where he finished second.
Now moving onto Ardennes where Martin leads before Romandie + Giro where Talansky and Hesjedal will lead. Really enjoying it.
How are other's Garmin careers going? I thought Ruben and Cunego both had them going, which partly inspired me to go with them. |

I actually have 3 going right now, including my story, although the first one was with the real name DB and I rarely play it anymore.
In the main one I play besides my story, Hesjedal won the Giro again in 2013. He was 2nd in Tirreno and was 3rd at Dauphine. Martin podiumed in all 3 Ardennes races but I played them before I knew the best tactics for hilly races so i ended up 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd.
Now on to the Tour where Talansky leads for the white jersey with support from Danielson and Hesjedal.
Reason it's 2013 is I started it a couple of weeks before the 2014 DB came out, so it's using the expansion.
I've slowed down playing it a little, in fact most of my non-story or YouTube PCM career time is spent with my long term career in PCM 11, where I am managing ExxonMobil at the end of 2015, using the 2011 Expansion.

Seems the Giro is easier than I thought to win with Talansky winning it for Ruben and Hesjedal for you. Might hope for something better than a top five-ten + white from them two who lead me there.
Good luck at the tour, I'm sending a weaker squad for breaks there this year with no real GC ambitions. Will be interesting if I can grab a stage with the likes of Cardoso and Millar. |

Nibali and Quintana were there, but Quintana crashed out after week 1 and I managed to drop Nibali on some medium mountain stages to gain back time, worked pretty well.
Yeah, i was very happy to see Quintana not go for the Tour, that gives Talansky a chance of white. In terms of sprinting I am saving Farrar for the Vuelta, it may be possible to podium a few stages there or even snag a win with him.

Decided to start one pretty interesting and challenging career besides one with Trek (story). Started with Serbian team - Telekom Srbija with only fictional riders signed (the ones that could be found under the "Young Riders" tab, while creating a custom team). Anyways, this is how it's gonna work :
- I'm not going to participate in any races except the ones that are held on Balkan (Slovenia, Romania, Croatia and Hungary are the only countries that has at least 1 race).
- I'm only going to sign Serbian talents in future, without any exception.
- I won't move from Balkan schedule idea, until one of my guys doesn't go over 73 in any of his stats.
So, it's pretty obvious that this will move on quickly and i'll soon reach 2025, where's my final goal for entering the ProTour. Anyways, here's my current squad.
Only first 3 guys can grow up into solid riders, and Krneta can become pretty good actually. The guy is currently on 66/67 SP/ACC and has 5stars on SP and 4stars on ACC.

Hello guys
I want to start a new career with a fantasy CT, and that's the problem. Since I've never played with a team that's not OPQS, I'm not really used to working with the CT calendar.
Could someone briefly explain me what the most important races are for these teams? And can they compete in HC races like Tour of Turkey, or only in 1.x and 2.x races? |

Important races depend on the nationality. You can participate in .HC races, but I'd only advise you to do that if you're confident you can achieve something more than riding in the break.

They can compete in .HC races, but you'll get turned down for some, depending on your squad strength and your nationality.
What races are important? Also that depends on what you want to realize with your team, what country your team is from.

So you two would advise me to stay in the 1.x and 2.x tours at the beginning?
To reveal something, I don't want to have any rider with a skil higher than 75 ( except attacking). |

For a low-end CT I'd advise mostly .2 races, for high-end (level of Jamis etc.) I think .1 should be fine.
