I thought you were Pitt side of the state, maybe I'm misrecalling. Even still, most of the Northeast US is pretty easy to travel between

Uh so this is a little awkward to mention now but... Has anybody else noticed that this whole time the sites name has been spelt wrong?
It's a small mistake but once you notice it it's hard to ignore. I think we might need to go back and retroactively update all the time we've been spelling it wrong.

What do you mean? It's always been Basso Daily

Yeah but look at the banner up the top, it's spelt with Basso DaiIy? The capital I looks the same as an l in the banner font, that's how it's gone unnoticed for so long.

I hinted towards interrailing last summer already, when study dates scrapped my "big plans" and I opted for a smaller Tour through Germany. Now however I've started my "real" interrail, which means that I have 2 months capacity of travelling through Europe. Just started my first day where I'm heading to Switzerland, from there I'll go through France, Spain and Portugal to late get back up. The 2nd part of my trip is still very much up to anything in Europe.
That means if you wanna be my daily meet-up #6 let me know, always looking forward to meet cool people on the way
Spoiler I also take any other travel tips or recommendations

Right now I'm moving into France and later Spain & Portugal, but for the first part I'll only do the southern stuff (Lyon downwards). I'll come back up though, so there might be options

Can welcome you in Bordeaux if you come back up this way.
Lyon is a great city though, hope you'll like it! |

I watched the Philippe Gilbert documentary on Eurosport the other day. It's not the bext I've seen but it was entertaining and interesting.
Also I ordered this book this week and I plan on reading it as soon as it arrives.

I just dropped by for some questions about PCM, but I couldn't resist coming to Café Pedro and saying: I'm turning 30 today!
Big number
I came to this site when I was barely 19 years old. That sounds insane. |

Ayyy happy birthday Ian I have that same round number later this year and noticed that a couple of weeks later, I will have been registered to this site half of my entire life, which was also a wild thought.

Happy birthday, Ian!
cunego, thanks for pointing the half of your life thing out since I'm also turning 30 this year and have been on the site since 2008

You're lucky you only joined the site at 19. Much more embarassing to live with your post history when you joined the site at 11.
And I'm 23 now, so I guess I already surpassed the half my life threshold.

Shouldn't be embarrassed with your posts at 11, bbl. Should be proud you made your way into a forum at such a young age. I don't think I even had access to the internet at home at that age, let alone know what a forum is

I didn't have my own computer at the time, just access to a family PC. So my dad saw I was on here and reprimanded me for talking to strangers a few times. Luckily I don't think I have to worry about that anymore.

While on Interrail, today I had my 6th daily meet-up, this time with the awesome YellowJersey! It was another awesome experience to meet a person you only (used to) connect to via the internet and instantly click with. I'm really thankful for all the cool people I've got to know via daily, such an awesome community.

And, to whom it may concern, we managed to do daily meet-up #7 which was in the making for a long time. Thank you Shonak for showing me around and growing my "daily-map". Who's next?
