Weird stage. Definitely not boring, but as with most mountain stages that finish on flat, the race condensed itself a lot, and in the end there's not much of a time difference at all.

Pog wins!
Hirschi finishes off an epic escapade in 3rd behind Roglic. Another close call from the Swiss, but what an absolute bonkers day he had today!
Great racing this weekend!

Tamau Pogi!!
Really cool to see Hirschi and Pogi sprinting for the win, they've been doing that since U23s

maybe iliac artery wasn't the real problem, anyway I think he should try to change team and staff behind him and get a last try, if won't work then it's right to quit.

Actually I thought that Aru could end his career or start a hiatus. However, I think he had the best results (?) since joining UAE this year up until the Tour, which does tell how much he has declined since 2017. Don’t know how one day he’s on the attack then he abandons. Nothing looked like ending up in such fashion but can’t say I’m surprised. Should join a Pro-Conti team, tbh. |

Prudhomme tested positive for COVID, has to leave the race for 8 days

I think it's ok to enjoy the irony behind that.

Great leadout by Morkov, good win by Bennett. Happy to see it.
You guys think that's Greipel's last TDF top 10?

He said that he felt the best on this stage after suffering from tough crashes on day 1, that it was the first stage that wasn't just about survival. I think he can get some more.

Greipel is always good for a top5-10. Still is.
Unfortunately had quite a lot bad luck with injuries/crashes in the last 2 years, which doesn`t let him slowly end a great career on highest level as he really should be able to.
Wouldn`t be surprised to see him in the breakaway as well at least once later on. |

Sagan very physical this Tour, that move on Van Aert being our newest example. Might have actually indirectly cost Bennett the win there by pushing them both to the side.

That's a stage disqualification for me, there was no gap so he pushed until there was one, you really can't do that.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's going to be a stage disqualification but, honestly, given what we saw recently with Groenewegen and Jakobsen, UCI should send Sagan home packing. It's not the first time that he's done something like this and it's more a case of luck that it didn't cause a huge pileup. |
