All about efficiency. By already posting the stages into the daily tab on my second screen whilst running the race, I save tons of time.
Well anyhoo, Tour de San Luis wraps up whilst drinking some coffee. Not from South America unfortunately.
Results: https://pcmdaily.c...st_1207501
Also made a video for the second mountain stage: https://youtu.be/...
Sorry @bikex, havn't downloaded the new cloths yet thus no transferts for Italo still. I also saw that Fundacion does not have any equipment and Reizen Waes has no helmet in Tour of Bishkek.

I would do that too if I had enough ram to have pcm, Excel and Firefox open I mean I actually can, Excel freezes though

San Luis wasn't that bad race as I was expecting. 17th and 18th place in GC (I was thinking about maybe better place, especially after first mountain stage).
In February, 191 points so far (If I count correctly). Yet still I'm waiting until Ulissi start his season.
Last year I had 288 points after February, but with Ferrari (which is better sprinter than Komisarek) and Ulissi winning his first stages. Now I have 225 points and one race is remaining. It could be similar season for me. |

Rabottini with a nice Top 10, though a bit bitter sweet seeing that he had chances of a podium even after the first mountain stage.
Thömel proves himself as worthy sprinter, 4th place in the Sprint classification is really nice.

Tsatevitch satge win + green = Good
Hirt 4th GC and 2nd on a stage = Good
Team 1st in the TTT = Excellent
König, barely top 10 GC = Meh.... Can only guess he crashed...

Next WT race has begun. First 3 stages of Pais Vasco now up.
Spoiler Unbelievable consistency from Simon but gutted about stage 2 where he was easily the quickest man but left it too late. Still, the leader's jersey was a nice consolation.
Everybody else indulging in a game of 'Who Can Crash Hardest?' Currently, J-Rod and Dumoulin out in front for shattering their bodies on a 75km/h descent together.

Outright uninteresting for us right now... Looks like we just keep on riding with mediocrity waiting for miracles to happen. We're going down without even being noticed or putting on a good fight. And this is like the 3rd WT race this season.

Not a bad start for Gilbert. GC podium should not be impossible here

At least Caruso managed to get on the podium but his performances in the mountains were pretty weak, doesn't bode well for the rest of the season.

Contador and surpisingly Gallopin a very good positon after the first three stages. Surely Contador needs tougher climbs than on the first half, hoping he can cause a heavy selection in one of the following two stages. Or at least make podium in the final prologuish time trial.
@fjhoekie: pretty sure könig didn't crash, just a pretty even competitive field. Guys around him have all same mt stats as him.

@Brewers: I guess my team was thrown back on stage 2 by the crash? would be my only idea to explain what Bazhkou and Meersman did there

Yes, Pinot crashed, same with Bazhkou. If I remember correctly, Meersman came down on the final descent on stage two with Pinot.
I always seem to get rain in every race I do and I end up with a fuckton of mass pile-ups. Must be because I'm British and rain follows me. One of the crashes took down my entire team except for the Yates bros.

Jaco Venter - Pedal Africa's first stage win of their small career in the ICL Peleton! Adds some happiness to an adequate San Luis race for the team. Berhane just misses out on a Top 10 which was the minimum expectation from him, so he will need to improve.
Looks like Kudus was his domestique during the race, so plan B for him was not feasible.

We didn't expect anything, but we come home with a top 10 result on a stage. Decent start on our ICL life.
