Bad that Nibbles was disq. well it was he's own fault. My subjective opinion was time penalty. It has been good for Vuelta. Same time..decision was 100% correct one.
Bad for Nibali also..he did fuck up he's 2015 season completely. Looks like he's luck has ended after 2014. But what a ride it was..3-4 years row.
Let's see what 2016 brings for him. He is still rider to watch.

Hopefully he moves away from the strategy of peaking for one race, it worked in 2014 but all it takes is some bad luck and then the whole season falls apart which is what happened this year. I'd like to see Nibali go back to the rider he was pre 2014, he was an entertainer

Bad luck, and perhaps some lazyness? Its all guess work, but he did fuck up at Mur and PSM. Whether it was sickness or whatever, I dno, but he didnt seem like 2014-Nibali until La Touissuire came around
By the way, Im think of previewing the more important stages. The Tour isnt the only race on the calender!
The UCI rulebook says elimination from the race in holding to the car.He broke the rules and got disqualified.Even though he is one of my fav.riders it was a correct choice.
Now I should pick a new favourite for this race.
Go Puritoooooooooooooooo!!!

I remember Fuglsang saying that Nibali is perhaps the most disorganized rider you could possibly imagine. Quotes from an interview before last year's Tour:
"If he didn't have Pallini (soigneur) around him, it'd be total chaos"
"If Nibali is asked if he wants any dessert, Pallini is always there to say no. If he wasn't, Nibali would say yes."
"In the morning, Nibali might say he feels a little fat, but in the night he'll go out and get pizza. I'm like: What the hell is going on inside your head?"
Combine this with the fact that Nibali won last year and gotten a new super contract, you have the recipe for a slacking disaster

I still DQ is too hard for a incident that happens all the time. Give him some minutes and something like a warning (yellow card). Porte got 5 minutes in the Giro and that is hurt enough for a GC contender.
Even though Nibali got disqualified, I think that it will be nice to watch what Aru and Landa can come up with, now that they'll share the spotlight with Nibali out of picture. They were pretty good together during the Giro so I'm excited to see if they can deliver as they did in the Giro, regarding the fact that the competition in the Vuelta is tougher than it was in the Giro.

All being even it certainly is a stronger field than the Giro but im not so sure that's how it will play out, the top Tour guys will start feeling it in the second week while the Giro guys have had a break with a couple of warm up races leading into the race, you also have guys like Pozzovivo who haven't got a full GT in the legs this season. We need to remember that nobody has won the Vuelta after winning the Tour in the same year and I don't see Froome being the rider to do it.
