Contract Trip #5 – Czech Republic + Slovakia
Final Votes
We had a close voting between 3 potential captains or free-role riders:
I decided to sign Petr Vakoc, he won´t have such a clear leader-role as the other would have. He will be joined by Martin Velits. Martin is well experienced and a great domestique for the flat races.
In conclusion we signed one rider from and one from . Maybe Peter Velits will join later in the pre-season, he will be added to the list.
Current squad
| Frank Schleck | Leader | | Lieuwe Westra | Leader | | Marcus Burghardt | Co-Leader | | Bob Jungels | Co-Leader | | Kristof Vandewalle | Co-Leader | | Rick Zabel | Talent Free-Role | | Mathieu van der Poel | Talent Free-Role | | Petr Vakoc | Talent Free-Role | | Patrick Gretsch | Pro-Domestique | | Laurent Didier | Pro-Domestique | | Jelle Wallays | Pro-Domestique | | Julian Kern | Domestique | | Alex Kirsch | Domestique | | David van der Poel | Domestique | | Martin Velits | Domestique |
Soon we will start our next trip, stay tuned |

I can't comment much for the rest of pre-season probably, but I'll do my best and always vote and participate!

No trouble with that, glad you are following this
Contract Trip #6 - Scandinavia
We go northern, towards the cold weather and Thomas Löfkvists home country Sweden.
He will lead our journey through Scandinavia, where we stop in
Danmark , Sweden and Norway .
Your Task
Now we need your ideas for helping Thomas to sign at least two cyclists.
Make proposals for Scandinavian riders!
We are still looking mainly for domestiques.

Magnus Cort, he is with OGE but would have a better role and future here.

Great to see a new (JF15) and a well-known (jandal7) face making proposals for our team
maybe we could get Cort...Guldhammer and Quaade seem to be out of reach looking at the fact they just signed with a danish PCT-Team.
Maybe we have the chance to sign Lasse Hansen from Cannondale-Garmin, due to similar issues as Magnus Cort. Michael Olsson had a good year at Team Ringeriks - Kraft, he surely would choose our team over Team Trefor - Blue Water. He would be a domestique; Thomas recommended him as the best swedish rider in our reach, together with Ahlstrand. We would have to battle against Cofidis for signing Jonas.
The Ludvigssons are surely not available, as they signed with Giant after running their Developement program. Gustav Larsson just signed with Cult. |

ok, my suggestions, (they are mostly pretty young talents, so I haven't justified them):
Sven Erik Bystrøm
Michael Valgren Andersen
Odd Christian Eiking
Lars Petter Nordhaug
Vegard Laengen
Tormod Hausken Jacobsen
Filip Eidsheim
Vegard Stake Laengen
Michael Carbel
Rasmus Guldhammer
Michael Olsson
Peter Persson
Hakan-Bo Nilsson
Frederik Johanssen
Anders Ekh

I'd say Bystrom, Nordhaug, Guldhammer, Carbel and Valgren are unreachable.
For some domestiques, Sven Balck and Stian Remme would be good additions. Very versatile and useful on almost any terrain.

Riders Selection - Scandinavia
Jonas Ahlstrand
Michael Olsson
Sebastian Balck
Lasse Hansen
Odd Christian Eiking
Vegard Stake Laengen
Tormod Hausken Jacobsen
Filip Eidsheim
couldn´t really find Peter Persson, Nilsson, Johanssen and Ekh anywhere...
I agree with Selwink too, these riders signed fitting contracts in the PCT or WT. You mean Sebastian Balck, am I right?
Most of the riders would be domestiques; Hansen and Ahlstrand shuld get more chances to ride for themselves.
Your Task!
Select the scandinavian riders!

Contract Trip #6 - Scandinavia
We have the final results of the Scandinavian Vote!
So we will sign Lasse Hansen. He will be a pro-domestique for us, getting his chances in Time Trials and flat-race-breakaways. He can really put the hammer down on everyone on flat terrain.
He will be joined by Sebastian Balck. A pure domestique from Sweden, Thomas knows him very well as a proven rider for every kind of race.
Jonas Ahlstrand and Odd Christian Eiking will join our list...

What is the other list? Is that voted for riders who are not suitable for the team? What is the full list like?
