Still top-10! And it looks like Kritskiy is saving energy for later on, smart smart smart

The team is not responsible for anything that might show up in Henao's next anti-doping test.

The stages keep getting better and better. Schleck has clawed back a ton of time and looks more menacing than ever. Pluchkin, Amador and Spilak all fall in that category as well. Phinney can't be sleeping well.
Glad to see Fothen behaving too. Top 10 is still in reach, and top15 is well under way.

Go for the KOM jersey instead of a top 25 please Mr Kohl. One of those races where it's interesting to read [props to roturn] but every mention of my team is depressing.

Great effort from Schleck to gain much more time again, he is closing to the podium. Congrats SN, now i can see him battling with Spilak for the win in Paris, as those two looks the strongest. Phinney will loose shitload of time in all the mountain stages to come and maybe only Amador or Madrazo can be the next two for the podium fight.
You seem to be hugely underestimating Alexandr Pluchkin, who is above both Spilak and Schleck atm, is easily gaining on Phinney in the mountains, and is my big favorite for the mountain-TT. I guess he will be leading the race after that stage, of course depending on how much that freaking acceleration gap of 5 points will add up to between Spilak and Schleck.
Yeah, few minutes after i wrote that down i noticed Pluschkin should be named too, but i did not bother to edit the post.
Pluchkin is in really good position as you say, but mountain TT will be about daily form anyway, with no so great differential in stats between main guys.
Btw. i cheer for you and Spilak, so you better win it.

As Keizer seems to be always on the wrong side of the split, Boom seems to be my best rider here going for the KoM.
Losing only 49s on a hilly stage though is good though as he is losing ~6min in the mountains...
Schleck also losing time here was a surprise. Seems to be the only top tier rider to do so. Makes it more exciting after he looked the best recently. |

Hmmm Shikai seems to be a little more anonymous than I thought he was going to be, and doesn't really seem like he's helping out much for Schleck either.
Oh well, he will be fighting for the TDF win against Schleck next season (hopefully)

After 10 stages Phinney with a nice lead but certainly got a good 11 days of racing to come in le Tour because there are no doubt many attacks to come from the other GC riders.

Another exciting stage, which ultimately saw a few GC guys lose out mainly due to bad luck. Big FU from Phinney to his doubters - we'll see how he goes up Le Mongie though tomorrow. (Squeaky bum time for managers of mountain haters this one could be real time elimination danger).
Schleck punctured - only 49 seconds but still that must sting after all his good work in recent stages.
Henao - who was extraordinary on previous day complete role reversal. Just a horrible day for him - quite a few managers are banging on about their crappy GC rider turning into Gomez Marchante style attackers not everyone is going to get that lucky rub though.
It is strange how these 'hilly' days in the GT's are generally days for GC men with the punchaers nowhere near.
Pleased again to have one of my guys in the break and Samoilev totted up a decent amount of KoM points. If he gets another day out he could become a contender in that.
These stages coming every day is like advent for MG managers - brilliantly written I think roturn

Shame we don't get in these breaks but another solid effort for Marquez. 15th now and nice gap already, good race for him so far.
Great action paced report there again and dominant sprint by Phinney. It's quite astounding how shit Madrazo is doing again, always behind and catching up, thought Giro was a one off, doesn't look like it. Also bringing Tenorio here instead late stage races like Colombia could prove decisive in relegation. Doesn't look good decision at the moment.
Shit luck for Project, hopefully Sergio is not injured and can do some damage in third week breaks.

Wow, what a bad luck for alexkr, really hope Henao is at least not injured so he can deliver something in the next mountain stages. Bad luck for SN as well with Schleck. On the other hand, some good luck here for me, it was a really nice thing that König finally decided to attack and it paid off a lot.

Too bad Schleck lost what he gained yesterday to a puncture... I guess he will claw back though.
It wasn't surprising at all that Phinney won today, but it wasn't good for the other GT challengers...
Spilak did OK, nothing extraordinary. He was where he needed to be all day, and ended up in the stage top 10, also getting a few points to the points jersey.

After these couple of climber-dominated stages, this one has changed the tide again, this time favouring the ones with a better kick, especially Phinney. Also Schleck manages to lose time yet again, interrupting his comeback. I have to say that even though it's a shame that he has punctured, it's great to see the competition so well balanced midway through the race!
Also a shame that Henao Montoya has crashed. Hopefully that won't be a factor in the next stages.

Thanks for the support guys.
Well, after all this time, I got used to crashes and when it comes in a race where I had no GC expectations at the start, it's not that big of a deal. Still, it would have been quite nice for Henao to be able to sneak into the top 10 here.
Hopefully he is not injured and he can go for a stage win in the remaining days of the Tour. If we fail to grab a stage win here, we will be very close to a 0/5 on season goals, which would mark my worst ManGame season ever in terms of goals.

Another great report, and Kritskiy, getting back to the front group and even attacking at the end; very strong!

Ah bummer for Schleck and Henao there. I'm just glad to see Amador make it through those hilly-rated stages without losing any time.

Rubbish! It's hard enough to make up ground without something like that happening. As time losses to punctures go, it could have been worse, but the majority of his rivals will not puncture or crash all race, so it is still pretty crappy.

Terrible luck for Henao, really feel for him there.
SN you are right. I thought i would be way worse when he punctured, so from that point limiting his losses to that was a decent result which i know is little consolation.
HUGE win from Phinney there for the stage and 20 seconds. Showing great fight, but another two big mountain stages to come in the next couple days.
