In Germany they are preparing a anti-doping law, which might come pretty soon already even though there are still opponents for it.
This would mean that athletes (not only in cycling) would in worst case get 3 years jail for doping or up to 2 years for having or buying doping stuff.
It would count for ~7000 athletes who are in the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) database. |

Uh, jail... that's a remarklable hefty sentence but I guess some people cheer for the introduction of such a no-tolerance policy.
I read today in my local newspaper that ARD will cover Tour de France next year again, since when is this official?

Not sure if it`s official. But last thing I read was that ARD is at least having some minutes every day. Not sure about live coverage. Eventually yes though.
ZDF will definitely not start with cycling in 2015 again due to financial reasons. But might also come back in 2016 or later. |

Big Dutch supermarket Jumbo will co-sponsor TeamLottoNL. Budget for the team will be around 12 million I think. |

The Tour de Suisse route of 2015 is known, and it features a mtf at the Rettenbachgletscher near Sölden: altitude of 2795m (!!!) and a killing climb of 14.7km at 9.8% average and 15% maximum. Probably one of the most difficult climbs in Europe (and the world)!!

Manolo Saiz is back
With a new team. This is probably the biggest cycling news of the year.
Oh and Iglinsky positive. EPO. No it's not news from a month ago, it's the other Iglinsky this time.

We all knew Maxim was doped after his Liege win. It was just a matter of time. In fact, i thought maybe it wouldn't once he faded into obscurity, but I guess it's just the opposite.
