I'd go for it, as TMM said, do what you want to do. And, to let you know, I'd follow for sure
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

a bit to much self-centered or not?
Don't forget you decided not to include yourself because of your privacy obsession

@Matt
I might have included him in a special version and PM'd it to him.
Actually it's so long ago I don't even know for sure if I did
(Well frankly I secretly hoped for more stories with my DB than one that died rather soonish, so I'd definitely follow it, Luigi )

Just started writing some reports and previews for a story with a 2015 team. Expect to see it up in the next couple of days/weeks |

I've been spinning some ideas around in my head last few weeks.
Yet I wonder, would anyone be interested in a story with PCM 11? |

Super excited about my new story project now that Karl is done and dusted. Not going to be massively radical but should still be unique enough. Quite a lot of ground work and planning to do and really having to stop myself posting stuff already.... Very very excited and it should be great when it gets going. Making sure it's all ready first

So, I'm thinking about starting a story over here. Probably a custom rider story, since I've really gotten into PCM again having not played much of 12 or 13.
I've read a few of the stories on the site as well as the story-guides here, so I think I have a decent grasp of the absolute basics. Though I'm sure I'll make some mistakes at first. Anyway, a few questions. How do you take your screenshots? Do you use the race replay, or do you take them in-race? Also, how do you export results in the smoothest way possible in regular text format from the game? |

Everyone makes mistakes, just make sure to learn from them and you'll gradually get better. At least that's what I did.
1. Screenshots can be taken in game with CTRL+T however I like using a program called Greenshot as it gets the job done faster. It converts photos to .jpeg and you can crop when you take the screenshot. Very useful and saves a lot of time. I have always done my screenshots in-race.
2. Export results in text is a button called "Export" to the bottom left when the results show up after the stage in-game. Click that and an excel file of the results can be found in our Documents->Pro Cycling Manager (version)->Users->Your PCM Username->Export->Exported_results.
Good luck with your story.

Good luck with your story. I'll give Greenshot a go, sounds useful. Thanks for the quick (and thorough) response! |

Im not playing pcm 14 but interesting anyway. Im just finish the last stage in TDF. Contador is winning, almost. During the sprint on champs elysee Contador and several others crash and as the only one Contador got injured and abandon the race.
First time for me seeing a crash on champs elysee and With such a result. Any others been seeing this, With the leader.

I´m playing for IAM cycling. In 9 stage in Tour de France I atack with Sylvain Chavanel. Whole stage he was riding alone in breakaway and he could celebrate a solo victory, but what happened ? Game crashed, maybe 10 meters before finish line.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a story game that myself and jandal are putting together. It features the same basic principal that you set up a management company for a cycling team and sponsors contact you to offer you a deal (So a bit like ICL I'm that the teams are fantasy but different as your in charge of the management company rather than the team sponsor and stuff, therefore making it a bit more realistic and hopefully making a better playing experience). The game is set in 2018 and features all of the best young cycling talent. We hope your interested in our idea as we are very pleased with its foundations so far. In short it's a bit like a second attempt at the LPC that I tried to start a while back but we've refined the idea and tried to add some new dimensions to make it more appealing. Your views would be nice to hear?

nothing wrong with more story games in my opinion but this doesn't involve much racing from the first read of it.

It will include racing we are going to use some of the races created or the members database to make it a bit different. As well we haven't finalised the calender but should do in the next few days.
