Well, it was cross on television anyway
Anyway, I just finished up until Tirreno - Adriatico just now. Will try to make the update by tomorrow, but can't promise anything.
Though I must admit, after playing Tirreno now, I'm getting rather bored. I've never played a career with just a sprinter before, and I must say I see why now does anyone have any experience with a sprinter's career and can help me stay motivated with just a sprinter? Thanks! |

I have just launched a carreer with NO sprinter.
Sorry I am not your man
You might just concentrate on flat races and simulates other if you are loosing motivation?

Up until now that's what I've been doing, but it's getting to be rather boring, to be honest Turns out I enjoy exciting battles on the mountains a lot more than a long stage with a sprint finish |

I'm doing exactly the same as you for my story atm, and i'm facing the same problems. What helps me a good bit though is that JOC is also quite good on the hills and can attack on a late hill, to spice things up a little.

I hate sprinting too, but then I hate climbing, the best thing is to do the mountain stages, but work for someone. Maybe pick one of these riders we sent in who is a climber, then he can be your focus in the mountains, then Lars is your man for the sprint. This is what I did with my Walter Susilo story.
Also Dippofix, you have a story!!!!???? Where?

In my Greg Henderson story, If the day didn't suit Greg, either someone was in the break, or I was fighting for the GC. It gives you something to do on those mountain days. I would suggest sending the GC guys to stage races with Lars

Hmm, thanks for the advices. I don't know what I'm gonna do yet, though.
If I only get to play a few hours tops in a week, I'd rather play stages I like, to be honest |

I'm very sorry to say but I don't think I will continue this.
Like I already said, I only have a few hours I can play each week, and I'd much rather spend that time playing stages I enjoy. I think you can understand that.
However, I still very much enjoy story writing. So I think I will return to my roots and do an old fashioned story once again. I'll probably start it up soon.
Sorry for those who were enjoying this. Thanks for following, really! I had a lot of fun for a while, but I guess I'm not the kind of guy that can keep a long career going with a sprinter. |

Hmm, well, il have to make my own story out of that rider I pMed you bout.
No use all that going to nothing! Sorry, thinking out loud.
Shame you don't have enough time/motivation, I think I understand, never had motivation problems myself, but I've never had as good (or long) stories. Good luck next time. |

Shame that the story ends.
I admit, I didn't like this one as much as some other stories you produced, but it's still sad to see a good story die...

Thanks for the support, guys!
I will most probably return with a climber, since I seem to enjoy those careers most of all.
I'll do it in a style of my first few stories, probably! |

A pity that this ends But don't you control his progression? Make him develop 'a la Jaja' and have him fight for the GTs in a few years Or at least Borgen could develop a bit more in hills/cobbles in exchange for some sprint and go for classics, or those rather tough stages in which you try to control all the attacks to bring it back to a sprint, at least I find those fun
But well, if you don't enjoy playing with a sprinter, then indeed it doesn't make sense to keep this one going. Before writing the story, we must certainly be enjoying it, as I believe you well know. Looking forward to what will come next

Thanks for your comment, lluuiiggii! I've thought about a development a la Jaja, but in the end I decided against it Didn't think it could be credible
So thanks (everyone) for following! I will kick back with a new story shortly, sprinters not included |

My favourite Story around, so gutted to see it die.
Maybe play on as his brother, as climber, and let something dramatic happen to Lars.
Spoiler I hear you like killing characters?
