Now it's clear that you are Cavendish hater,if Veelers didnt turn his head back he wouldn't have lost control and leaned to right, all he needed to do is finish last metres.
For me its his fault! |

It's called a joke. Looks like your sense of humor crashed with Veelers.

Veelers is half a metre left to the white line when Cav jumps out of his wheel:
He is on the other side of the white line when their shoulders touch:

To me it sounded like being a dick. |

You skipped the part where Cav jumps out of his wheel. And he's a lot more to the right.

I agree with baseballlover you can't seriously defend Cavendish in this case, I think he should be taking out of the tour |

Surely there are incidents like this in everyday races which are avoided... Think Cav abit greedy and misjudged getting around Veelers. |

They were both moving to the right. He diden't move his bike to the left slightly, he dove in and elbowed the guy.
If I'm a Cav hater, you must be a Cav lover then.

I don't like Cav either, just think this was an accident that can happen during sprints. Not something he did on purpose

After those tweets, I'm certainly willing to forgive him. Glad to hear it wasn't an intentional manouever caused by frustration.

Veelers hardly helped himself, but if you are going to analyse the movements of Veelers so heavy you should be able to see that Cavendish still careens in to him in the search of that valuable slipstream.
So no Cavendish is still at fault for me, because he did not have to do it but he did anyway in desperation (a good and bad thing) for the stage victory. Preferably he would get a tap on the wrist just to keep him honest, but personally I'm fine with him apologising in person to Veelers. |

Talking about Goss, he has to get his act together fast, total failure of the season apart that Tirreno win.
Considering his wage at Orica, I wonder if they are finally going to loose patience with him.

Surely we have seen lesser incidents in past get punished. |

Watched the replay. What caused Veelers' behaviour was the fact that he wanted to swerve left to let Kittel pass. Then he saw Kittel was already going left too, so he moved back to the right. Unfortunately at the same time Cav was moving left at a rapid speed. I don't see anything intentional in Cav's actions. I think Cav misjudged the time needed to pass Veelers and tried to get in Greipel's slipstream. |

Considering his wage at Orica, I wonder if they are finally going to loose patience with him. They are willing to give him a chance. Pretty sure his contract end this year if l'm correct. Doesn't deserve the wage he is getting on current performance. |
