Steegmans with an incredible lead-out. Cav in front of EBH, surprisingly 2nd here.
Hope VDB is all right... |

I read that Hesjedal has a broken rib. Massive crashes today. How is Bouhanni? |

Sick. Stomach bug for three days. Exhausted and wondering how he'll cope with the coming days. |

^He should have an easy ride tomorrow, since the stage is mostly flat. I hope he recovers quickly, to see him active in the sprints. |

Thanks for the answers
With Bouhanni I was actually talking about the massive crash at the end. It seemed that he was the first to crash and someone else jumping over him. That looked bad |

Yes, I figured it out after I had posted my message.
There's nothing on his twitter nor in interviews, he's only spoken about being sick, so I guess it's not really an issue for him.
Maxime Bouet on the other hand (yeah, well...), has fractured his radius. I guess you can't ride with a broken radius.
edit : update about Bouhanni, he has a concussion on his left quadratus lumborum (I had never heard about that muscle under that name before), aka one of the lumbar muscles and has a muscular oedema but nothing serious, despite the medical terms looking vaguely unfamiliar (at least to me).

Impey's pissed. Says the team won't allow him to take yellow because he's not australian.

Typical JV, but I doubt he's fine. Hesjedal did poorly in 2011 with just bruised ribs and a sore back. Shame, I was excited to finally see how he would do.

If I'm correct, he needs to be 8 place in front of Gerrans tomorrow. Could be possible |

He had orders to lead out Goss. After Goss was dropped he was ordered to lead out Gerrans. Watch the stage finish, he's leading out the yellow jersey until a bit before the line he stops pedalling and looks behind as if to say "go on, then..."

Good to see Cav back. Could get 3 in a row from now onwards.

That's seriously disturbing to hear. Nationalistic jackasses.

Do you have a quote for that anywhere?
His blog post is pretty diplomatic.

I only know concussions when talking about brains..
The muscle they are talking about (and that probably got hit) is in the lower back area, not directly leg-related as far as I understand. An oedema is most likely a swelling.
who provided the medically termed information? |

I know, imagine if he was leading out Farrar how good they would be.
