I'm pretty sure Mosquera will be banned, so he won't rider a lot for Vacansoleil this year... |

But he was cleared of the charges against him. He was only provisionally suspended, but that was only until november last year.

WADA is not interested because Hydroxyethyl is not on their doping-list.

Gesink beats al GC contendors in a flat time trial.
Where are we going to write that?
Gesink lost the race in that 5th stage when he was dropped with Visconti. What a shame |

Ye, indeed a shame, but still, what a great ride as dutchie i was exited as hell, also because Evans was way slower in the first part, he made up good tho in the second part.
Still, 2nd in this field is great in my opinion

Well, also really bad to lose time as Gesink did on stage 5. So now he can learn not to do that anymore. Its nice to see that he is a lot better now on ITT though.
Nice win for Cadel overall.

Indeed. Gesink was superb. But I would feel I little uncomfortable had he won the GC. Evans was better almost every other single day, so I think he deserved to win. And Gesink, wow, it will be nice to see how will he be at the Tour.

Did anyone saw Gilbert time? Eurosport was on commercials when Phil finished. |

Gesink will never be top on hills and the Tirreno wasn't a goal. So I'm still happy he got so close.
That bodes well for april |

Good results for the Dutch guys. 3 in top 10. Boom was the only one getting 'close' to Spartacus' time, Flens got a nice 4th place and Gesink seems to have improved considerably in TT-ing. Malori also did very good. Very talented guy.

Great win for Cadel, even though it was quite predictable even before the start of the stage. Congrats for him.
Gesink with an impressive performance. Wasn't for stage 5 he would have won GC easily.
Lastly, Machado with a nice performance, moves ups to 7th, 3 seconds behind Pinotti, so almost 6th. Good result for Radioshack

Gesink seems to get better and better in TT. And that's very good for him.
Also, Machado finished 7th! |
