An Estonian was kidnapped by armed Russians about 10km from the border. Russia claims that he was arrested inside Russia.
There are clear footprints of several men coming from Russia and then returning while witnesses have confirmed seeing armed men.
Meanwhile, Russia claims he was a spy and had materials that indicate intelligence mission. Maybe a map with an arrow and text "spy here" //sarcasm
I think its about time to completely blockage Russia. WW2 started because allies were to soft on Germay.
I agree, something needs to be done or we will be entering dark times of another European War. This confirms my fears, Putin is greedy, wants to reform the Soviet Union to prove that Russia are Top Dog in the world when they already are at the moment. Not to mention the amount of wealth if he takes back the countries of the former Soviet empire. But Putin is clever, manipulative and cunning.
Why is it so important to take a kilometer walk, show you're different and spend alot of money on it?
1. Make a big mess. This country is loaded by hooligans, who will without any doubt, protest against this. Protest on a really bad way. (I am not defending them either, all of those should be in jail, but it's just provoking them)
Pretty much just answered your own question. Because the attitude that somehow the people involved in pride are somehow at fault (implicitly or explicitly) for the behaviour of these hooligans is something that should be fought against. Pride is a civil rights movement, and a celebration of the historical fight for those rights.
Floods hitting Serbia again. God, this is so scary. The power of nature at its best. I don't have to say anything, just take a look at the video below. The town in the video is literally ~60 kms away from the one I am living in, so it is much closer now than it was back in April/May. Well, can only hope it doesn't come here.

Also it has a potential for unrest as there are Apple fanboys who try to convince you to get out 700€ for something, Samsung did already 2 years ago for MUCH less and if not even better.
So difficult topics seems about right
Actually no but this forum software doesn't support to move single posts to another thread.. So you can ignore it.

To me America has a racism problem in many areas. It has done for a long time and it will do for a long time. Something like racism should not influence police work but inevitably it does. But there is difference between racist cops and cops worrying about the percentages (perhaps not the right phrase but you get the idea)
If someone is waving a gun around as a policeman you go into overdrive. That person starts pointing it at you and that is a serious problem. In a country with such a high number of guns and rate of gun crime the police must take steps to protect themselves and those in the immediate area. This does not mean going straight for your gun, which frankly is just a way to escalate the situation.
Spoiler
That is a BB gun. At 10m you would be very hard pressed to be able to tell the difference between that and a real pistol. Throw in poor light, movement and/or any one of a number of factors and even an expert is going to struggle to tell the difference. So you're going to let someone wave it around, point it at you in a potentially threatening way?
This does not mean i condone the actions of the Ferguson situation. Your own gun should not be your first action, it should be your absolute last resort. There are plenty of other solutions the police can use to neutralize the situation in even a non-violent way, let alone non-lethal.
Then there is the wider state of policing in the U.S. which is worrying. Just the number of stories that come out of the police using excessive force, lethal force, being racist and just generaly cocking up is staggering! No other "Western" police force has these issues to the same scale and that should say everything.
And yes i'm avoiding the related issues stemming from the actions like the protests and judiciary outcomes.
Firstly, let me point out that I find this whole situation quite depressing and so if I've overlooked/misheard/misrepresented any crucial information here, I apologise in advance.

I'm not certain about that, (there could be worse things happening that aren't as well publicised) but there is a serious issue with excessive force indeed. That's probably the part about this whole saga that I find hardest to comprehend; people are defending the police for killing innocent people because they had reason to believe that the person was committing a crime. Even if that supposed crime was serious enough to warrant said policeman to reach for his gun, why do they then shoot to kill as a first instinct?
Surely one of the first things you should be taught when you're training to be a police officer is how to use the powers that you've been given responsibly, and not to overreact or make assumptions without properly analysing the situation. Either way, let's put that and the race issues aside for a moment and just point out the fact that an innocent civilian was shot SIX FUCKING TIMES and the person who did it is effectively facing no legal repercussions. Is that how we're supposed to think justice works?

There's definitely issues in the US with deaths by law enforcement agencies compared to other countries: https://www.busine...014-8?IR=T
As for the reasons for that, I have no idea.
In terms of racism by law enforcement agencies, there's also definitely a problem in the US: https://www.huffin...58947.html
However, that's most certainly not limited to the US, the UK also has massive issues with racism from law enforcement agencies.
In terms of the recent high profile cases in terms of racism in the US, most of them have had some ambiguity in the evidence. However, the case of Eric Garner does not. You can watch the video of his death on youtube (warning, it's very, very difficult viewing). Jon Stewart sums it up excellently:
With the demographics the way they are racism isn't likely to see any fix, if history is any evidence then surely it's a long-term process. I think Obama captured it correctly when he talked about a line of cars locking their doors as he walked past, being a black in America. Do you think these people in their cars are really racist? It's the same with Darren Wilson, it's highly unlikely he's a racist, but hard to think that way in that situation right?
To put it into simpler terms, if I were Darren Wilson I don't think I would do anything different. But as a citizen, I can't agree with him based on only that premise.
And on gun control -- since this discussion is going to be brought up anyway, there's so much to agree with it in priniciple, but very tough to implement in America, and likely to cause negative results too in the short-term.

Yeah, the power of the NRA and gun lobbyists is the real reason why reforms haven't already happened. That and also that one of the possible negative results of trying to pursue gun control which is (kind of ironically) attempted assassinations

What's bad is, American people feel entitled to a tradition of bearing arms, but if you take that away, you're only getting public dissent, while in actuality the people who cause trouble aren't affected at all

It is easy, as USA has culture based on violence and whole federation is forcing their will on world and homebased politics by violence throughout their whole history, so it is not surprise that violence is also the prime thing on citizen level.
When you add important people behind the scenes, that are benefiting from whole gun sale and people being shot (as it leads to even bigger sales of guns thanks to mass hysteria being popular in USA) you have a circle of death.
People need to understand that "right" to have a gun is not right at all, at least not important one in actually civilized countries...
What fascinates me the most on USA is fact, that people are happy to be fooled by words "that is your freedom and you have to defend it", while they are in fact just soldiers in mass control game of some powerhungry business man from one of traditional families.

Imagine if Russia had 100 military bases stationed in Canada, Mexico and surrounding the US waters. Then you get a perspective of what's really going on
