How I love Leiden.
My school is literally 3 minutes from the centre of Leiden, but well, it's in another municipality, so yeah, obviously no problem at all to have a regular school day.

I have been through something similar. Was at school when the the firebell started ringing and everybody had to assemble outside. We (students) didn't get any information about what was happening but looking at how the teacher's were acting it looked serious. We had to walk out of the school through the woods behind and before learning that somebody had alerted there was a bomb in the school. Was only in my first year of middle school (about 13 years old) so didn't really understood the severness of the situation. Luckily no bomb was found and we could all come back after the weekend.

But like you hear people often say with these things, indeed really strange that it comes so close.
I'm not afraid at all, but still I don't feel 100% calm. Hopefully they will catch (yes, catch, not shoot, USA...) the basterd.

Ummm to be fair, he/they were chucking explosives out of their vehicle at those chasing them and shooting at them.
Its hard to catch someone another way when thats the case.

I wasn't criticizing the police, but the citizens who are happy one of the suspects is dead.
Of course the cops did a great job.

I'm happy that the suspect is no longer a threat to society. Under the circumstances in which the fight took place, I don't really care how they did it.
