what i mean is if you are doped you will get caught....and now it is some time since Froome emerged so there would be positive test but there isnt!

Well that explains so much! Nobody ever used doping before the 90's!

Thank you masch20! You've restored my faith in cycling!

How can you be so sure he's british? Is the incest rate that high?

His dad-uncle and mom-sister must be so proud

It has been fairly well publicised that Froome was diagnosed with Bilharzia, a disease caused by parasitic worms that has an impact on the immune system. Froome was first diagnosed with bilharzia in 2011, and was believed to have picked it up in Kenya in November 2010; he also suffered again from the disease in early 2012.

Undoubtedly bilharzia could result in a drop in performance for a professional cyclist.

Another credible theory is that Froome is a natural late developer. Growing up in Kenya and training in South Africa, could easily have stalled his development, compared to what it could have been if he had been with a top European team from a young age. Froome's breakthrough tour came when he had just turned 26; that is a realistic age for a grand tour contender to break through if they have not had top training since a youngster.

What's wrong with being naive? I like to just watch a stage and not think about the riders being dopedPfft.

Ah yes the famous disease. You mentioned he might have picked it up in late 2010.

Let's watch his natural climbing talent in 2009 shall we:

Explain then how his results before November 2010 are absolutely nothing whatsoever.

Yet it didn't. He was crap, and then continued to be consistently crap.

Is there an alternate definition of "Credible" that I'm not familiar with? Perhaps meaning "hilarious"?

masch20 wrote:

That might have any semblance of credibility if he had developed at all.

Realistic? And you base that on what examples?
Name another guy with no top training since being a youngster who turned pro at the young age of 21, was consistently at the same level of averageness for years, then magically became a superstar overnight at the exact same time that his team hired a notorious doping doctor.

read below his talent wasnt fullfilled then,he was riding for bad team, with no training.

oh yeah you are another Froome hater...see ya when Mollema and Ten Dam get caught...their progress seems very realistic, especially Ten Dam!

Miguel98
Barloworld a bad team? Ten Dam always had to work for Gesink or Kruisjwik, two years ago he was riding a great Tour before his crash. Finished top 10 in La Vuelta last year as well.

So let's review your method.

- You make wild claims
- You're asked to back them with facts
- You pout, call people 'hater' and announce you're leaving

Did I miss any intermediate steps?

Also, remind me again how awful Soler was for that 'bad team'?

Lol masch shut up about Mollema and Ten Dam, they are not doped I assure you. Ten Dam has gradually improved every year, same goes for Mollema. This is the first Tour without any bad luck by falls or other incidents and they are doing well at the moment.
