Wait a minute. How come so many people are saying Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays if the majority of the site is Atheist?
You can still belive in Christmas and what it stands for whilst being atheist. Christmas is more than just a religious festival, it stands for being together, being part of a family. Spending time with those you love, and kindness.
I think even the strongest of atheists can believe in that.
Happy Christmas to you all.
Yeah, exactly!
So why are you here in Christmas Eve?

And also, in a semi-national news paper they had an article "The 100 greatest sporting moments of 2012". I had to laugh, Wiggins winning the tour was only 95th.

The family were watching Eastenders and that sort of rubbish. I can't stand that sort of show. Like, they need to kill people off every Christmas. Festive cheer or what?

I don't know, it's a good sporting moment. Not 'great' but good. 95 is probably about right. (I know, I know, I'm British. But whilst I'm happy Wiggins won, it was a boring race)

So what did everyone get for Christmas?
I got a couple of concert tickets, US Dollars for my Washington trip, a set of knives, salt / pepper cellar and some clothes. It's always at this time a year I realize I'm not that young anymore... |

Very happy with the way christmas went. So stuffed from yesterdays dinner! Gin, beer, brandy, whiskey, wine and cognac. Fun!
Got a nice watch, a pair of boots and some gloves.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

A thoughtful Santa delivered this with his yellow car :
- a mat for my home-trainer
- a new bottle cage for my bike
- a pair of Look Keo blade carbon pedals (190 g a pair) <3
- a new chain I won't use before next Spring
- new spare moss parts for my cycling helmet (won't put them in laundry this time)
A much less thoughtful Santa also brought :
- clothes (thanks mum, I was wondering whether I'd get clothes or clothes)
- a set of aperitif glasses (thanks, I can't/don't drink much as a sportsman)
- candies (erm... am I not fat enough already ?)
Oh well, Xmas sucks. |
