Well, I was hoping for some gaps, but that wasn't likely. Garby taking second on the stage is a nice result, though being so close to a win is always tough to swallow. Ebsen has been killing it joining breaks. If only he could actually win KOM sprints, that would definitely have been in play by now.
I can only hope the hilly stage doesn't have any big time gaps either, especially with the TT coming up. But I'm not counting on it.

Not much to cheer about over the last few stages for us. Just looking forward to Stage 19 and the damage we should be able to do there. Hopefully, we can at least get a stage win out of this event (and maybe a Top 5 GC from Fraile, but that's pushing it).

Super happy to see Vuilleermoz in the break again, also glad to see he's the strongest of the KoM contenders. Sad he couldn't finish it off, but he can make it up by attacking again in stage 20. |

Next two stages should be more interesting then. Ticos playing their muscles for a few moments, but they better do this stuff in S20, where it should be "easier" to actually get a gap until the finish.
A long ITT though may be the most important stage now. Any bad daily form can cost either Schelling or Barguil the chance for the overall victory.

Gotta say, it's awesome to see PCM AI actually using Ticos's team strength for good attempts, even if it is in weird and ineffective ways.
Big stage for us to get through. Garby doesn't lose any time to the hills, which is very important. In fact, he actually gains time on Fraile, who's a major threat in the TT. Tomorrow will define our final GC I think. Depending onw hat goes right or wrong, we could be looking at a final GC of anywhere from 5th-10th.

Tatarinov saving Kiserlovski again, what a fantastic race he is having. Fingers crossed for the ITT.

Really hoping Fraile was just conserving energy for the ITT. Really no reason to lose time right at the end of the stage.

Race remains a crushing disappointment for Berhane, but a relatively good time trial, and at least 5th in GC is more than in reach.
Awesome ride by Reguigui, to become the 5th Eritel rider with a stage podium. Good stuff again from Hadi too.

The TT went as expected and a lot of time is lost by Thibault. However, I was happy with a Top t finish at the start and it looks like we with come away with just that.
Excited to see how the final 2 stage go...

Great ITT by Kiserlovski making a podium finish a real possibility. Is he fresh enough to make up 3 mins on the two ahead of him?
He could get good support as Irvine and Hirschlein both making the top 15 in the ITT could mean they have some reserves left for the last mountain stage although there is not a flat section all day!
Thanks for the report roturn and looking forward to seeing how the GC battle plays out over the 7 mountains in stage 20.

Great day for Fraile. But Berhane should be capable to move up to 5th. If he finds back to proper climbing legs.
Should be a thriller between Schelling and Barguil. Glad they didn't decide it in the TT.

Fricking hell. Disgusting ride from Garby. I just don't get it. He beats 81 mtn Berhane on various mountain stages only to lose big to him when he actually has the stat advantage. I also thought we'd do better than 64 TT Chamorro here, but nope. I need to do something about Garby's time trial. Being dropped in that TTT has killed us the entire race, and it still makes no sense to me.
Now Garby is looking to finish last out of the group from 5-8th all bunched together, and that's a huge difference in points for how much we put in here. Utter trash. Completely killed by the TT kms. I should have realized that beforehand.
I guess go big or go home tomorrow. Go for 5th and hope we don't slip out of the top 10. of course, that's probably what we'll do now.

Fraile comes through! Outstanding ride and we finally get a stage win. Better late than never. Warbasse into 15th as well.
Interesting to see so many GC spots that could shuffle on the final mountain top finish. Not great that we are in position to lose 2-3 spots with Fraile.
I really wanted a Top 5, but I'm doubtful at this point.

Hopefully Barduil can complete the job and bring home the GC, we have the team to do it and the team to cause some real damage, I think we will prove too strong with the depth we have if we play our tactics right.

Expected to see bigger gaps there, quite a large front group - of course with Berhane failing to grasp the easily available 5th place... Thank goodness Stancu did not steal the U25 jersey from Hadi.
Congrats to Ste for Barguil coming through for the win. Hard luck for Bushwackers, but 2nd is still good for Schelling!
