Hmmm, thought this was past the Cezh´s cycling but anyways

So UCI needs to take it to CAS but of course they will and of course Kreuziger will be handed a ban by CAS.

The Giro was in the last past few years the least exciting GT to watch. Not because of the profiles, that should make it the hardest and most exciting one, but because of the contenders.
2013: Quintana....rest of the world.
2012: Nibali....rest of the world.
2011: Contador....rest of the world (even if he was then dsq'd)
Something got messed up here. 2012 was a quite exciting battle between Hesjedal and Rodriguez.
You mean the 2nd most boring GT in recent years?

And what's the first then? Tour 2012 or '13?

Tour 2012 definitely. 2013 was a boring GC fight but contained some entertaining passages. And Quintana did well so that pushes it up my list

Tour of Beijing 2014 will be the last edition of it. This was due to the lack of cycling stars. Brian Cookson said that it isn't a serious loss

In my opinion Giro has usually the best route of all the GTs (the most balanced one, not biased towards TTs like Tour or towards mountains like Vuelta). The main problem in the recent years was that one rider was always several minutes ahead in GC (Contador, Nibali, Quintana). When I heard at Tour that Nibali is going to try Giro-Tour next year, I was afraid that this will be another boring race in terms of winning GC, but if riders like Contador will go too then the race will surely be exciting regardless how easy/hard the route will be.

AG2R extends their sponsorship through 2018. Excellent news.

Yeah. A true household name in the business, but maybe less ugly jerseys for the future?

Bergen, Norway, will be the 2017 host city of the WC. A beautiful city, I was in holiday there.

Well that leaves 2018 or 2019 for Innsbruck World Championship. Hmpf. Lazy city administration, do something.

https://www.uci.ch...decisions/
In order to further improve UCI’s anti-doping processes, the 14 member Management Committee proposed the establishment of an Anti-doping Tribunal to deal with cases involving international athletes, instead of these disciplinary proceedings being delegated to National Federations. The tribunal would be made up of judges specialised in anti-doping, fully independent of the UCI, with the aim to provide all top level athletes with the same consistent process and a clear, short timetable. This should ensure consistency and uniform quality in the decisions, significantly reduce the number of cases that go to CAS on appeal and lift the operational burden from the National Federations.

Member nations should never have the opportunity to clear athletes name. Massive conflict of interest. Very good step. |

This is the best part. It would never have happened under McQuaid.

He says it is good and that they do good work. The issue he seems to have is overlapping organisations with different sets of rules which is hardly surprising for the President of one of those organisations.

I know
But saying that its confusing, he should look at UCI rules first - I think MPCC rules are clear and fans who follow cycling understand them.
Then the part about harmonizing under WADA code - I think he means improving WADA but such improvements in large organizations are slow. This is why we need MPCC, to get changes out and force WADA to include them also.
