Thanks for improving Boivon when he was on loan at you and I hope Koch can perform better for you then he did for me basically non-existent all season but the stats boost will help with that for sure. |

Really great talent pool there.
Hansen and Dzamagastic make awesome leadouts I guess.
Quite a pity though that you missed the last few exp points for Willwohl to max him in 3 seasons.
Also Koch and Hansen might need a PT year to max in one season now. So might miss you.
But some surely can be of great help in PCT already.

Also one of my favourite CT teams for obvious reasons.
Looking through that post, it kinda feels like looking at a mini Puma...
I'm excited to race against you next season, and even before that to fight you in transfers, although I always prefer to settle target clashes in PMs rather than in bidding wars.
Guess you chose the right season to go for Germans and Latvians though

And yet again, I feel I must bring back the counter argument that it's cheaper to train the hill stat of a sprinter than the sprint stat of a puncheur
Well good thing I went for the sprinter option with Demare then, I guess...
How about a nickname? De-night-mare?

@ all: Thanks for the amount of comments. Really appreciated!
@ Avin: Thanks for your kind words. I do like your team, too, but there are a few riders in there which really destroys the good picture but luckily I can help you We surely gonna talk a lot in the transfer period.
@ Heine: Normally, I agree with you that hill sprinter/puncheurs are most of the times more worthy as puncheurs than as sprinters but for Dzamastagic it was an easy decision since training him as a puncheur would have made him a great rider on CT while training him as sprinter will give him the potential to be a very useful rider on every level especially with some training.
No guarantee that those numbers are all correct since the last time i opened it was 10 month ago and i didnt checked anything for mistakes.

@ jph: Bekmanis as a sprinter would have been interesting, too, but i think that once maxed out he will be of higher use for me than the sprinter version. That is because the hill version will be a good enough domestique on every level while the sprinter version would be useless in PT.
Also I favour sprinters with a high FL and 71 is too few to me. With a Dzamastagic-like FL he could have been trained as a sprinter as well but this way - no.

@ jt: Seeing how great Boivin was for me i was the luckier one of our deal. He always was a great leadout for Geschke and got a few fantastic results himself.
It is a shame that Koch could not help you that well but thanks for taking him to the same level since i could not have done it myself.
@ roturn: Just like so many other teams I have so many talents to loan into PT. You mentioned Hansen and Koch as they are the obvious ones which need one to max out but also Vosekalns and Bauhaus could need one so that i can max them next year myself...
@ cio: I agree with you. It is better for all sides when target clashes are solved via pm so i appreciate that as well.
I already wrote that your team inspired me quite a lot when building my squad and I'm looking forward to race against the big puma.
Too bad that I will be on the other side of the rankings since I would need an incredible transfer season or a 180° turn of my philosophy to get any close to your team

@Jesleyh: Less BVB - yes. But not given up completely yet. I just could not do that in a season where the BVB is ranked so low
With the full list of 2015 sponsors it was obvious that the presentation of the 2015 jersey would follow soon.
The jersey combines last season's yellow jersey with the color of our main sponsor Evonik and should give us a lot of attention on the road next season. And of course, it will look great on the winner pictures we can expect.
Huge thanks to the south african creator!

Interesting choice of colour.
Like it more as last years jersey (then again I am no BVB supporter).
Will be interesting next year to race against you. I hope Geschke will not annoy me too much when racing against him. |

Very nice jersey, should stand out nicely, class job there by Aidan. This is one awesome team, good luck in PCT. You should do rather well here, and with Geschke and few others you already have nice backbone to build on. Hopefully you smash it!

@ roturn: Credits for the color combination goes to aidan. He convinced me that they could be combined for a great result
@ Alak: Not sure where you found that optism about my team since Geschke is the closest to a PCT worthy leader but we'll see
Thanks for the kind words

The end of a year is always Award time. New signings are eagerly awaited and some guys might be on the way out at the end of the season.
Perfect time to recap the season with some interesting statistics and award those who performed outstanding.
Most Valuable Rider | | Pts | PPRD | PPk€ | Geschke | Simon | 522 | 9,49 | 2,98 | Saramotins | Aleksei | 185 | 2,61 | 3,70 | Dupont | Timothy | 109 | 1,70 | 1,54 | Joeaar | Gert | 96 | 1,43 | 1,60 | Hansen | Lasse Norman | 89 | 1,46 | 0,59 | Boivin | Guillaume | 75 | 0,94 | 1,50 | Vosekalns | Andris | 74 | 0,93 | 1,06 | Edmondson | Alexander | 66 | 0,88 | 1,32 | Stoltz | Yannick | 47 | 0,76 | 0,94 | Bissinger | Florian | 24 | 0,36 | 0,48 | Willwohl | Willi | 23 | 0,27 | 0,23 | Grand | Arnaud | 8 | 0,14 | 0,16 | Bauhaus | Phil | 5 | 0,06 | 0,10 | Teruel | Eloy | 3 | 0,06 | 0,06 | Mager | Christian | 0 | 0,00 | 0,00 |
Explanation:
PPRD: Points per Race Day
PPk€ : Points per 1.000€ Wage It's the most important award and the easiest one to decide: After a superb season it is Simon Geschke to take the most prestigious award home.
Most Overperforming Rider | | PPk€ | Saramotins | Aleksei | 3,70 | Geschke | Simon | 2,98 | Joeaar | Gert | 1,60 | Dupont | Timothy | 1,54 | Boivin | Guillaume | 1,50 | Edmondson | Alexander | 1,32 | Vosekalns | Andris | 1,06 | Stoltz | Yannick | 0,94 | Hansen | Lasse Norman | 0,59 | Bissinger | Florian | 0,48 | Willwohl | Willi | 0,23 | Grand | Arnaud | 0,16 | Bauhaus | Phil | 0,10 | Teruel | Eloy | 0,06 | Mager | Christian | 0,00 |
PPk€ : Points per 1.000€ Wage Experts completely overlooked routinier Aleksei Saramotins at the start of the season. Few expected him to perform good and nobody expected him to win two of the major CT classics.
Most valuable Domestique | | AP | APPRD | Stoltz | Yannick | 918 | 14,81 | Hansen | Lasse Norman | 666 | 10,92 | Joeaar | Gert | 636 | 9,49 | Bissinger | Florian | 596 | 9,03 | Boivin | Guillaume | 705 | 8,81 | Saramotins | Aleksei | 613 | 8,63 | Mager | Christian | 661 | 7,78 | Dupont | Timothy | 482 | 7,53 | Grand | Arnaud | 428 | 7,25 | Edmondson | Alexander | 485 | 6,47 | Willwohl | Willi | 542 | 6,45 | Geschke | Simon | 320 | 5,82 | Bauhaus | Phil | 459 | 5,40 | Vosekalns | Andris | 290 | 3,63 | Teruel | Eloy | 155 | 3,23 |
Explanation:
AP: Assisted Points. Points scored by teammates when the rider was racing, too.
APPRD: Assisted Points per Race Day Every star needs a team around him so it is important to award the most important domestiques as well.
It's difficult to measure but generally, it is always a good sign when other guys score well when you are supporting them.
This year's award goes to Yannick Stoltz who were of huge importance as part of Simon Geschke's leadout train as well as one of few domestiques for Saramotins and Dupont on the cobbles.
Attacker Of The Year | BotD | KMs | Top 5s | Andris Vosekalns | 13 | 1875 | 4 | Alexander Edmondson | 4 | 665 | 3 | Phil Bauhaus | 4 | 580 | 1 | Florian Bissinger | 3 | 540 | 2 | Christian Mager | 2 | 350 | - | Arnaud Grand | 2 | 285 | - | Willi Willwohl | 1 | 200 | 1 | Guillaume Boivin | 1 | 190 | 1 | Lasse Norman Hansen | 1 | 170 | - | Gert Joeaar | 1 | 30 | - | Yannick Stoltz | 1 | 30 | - |
Explanation:
BotD: Number of Appearences in the morning break. The break has to be created in the first half of the race and has to lead for at least 25 kilometres and with a minimum gap of 2 minutes.
KMs: The distance that was ridden in morning breaks. Estimated from the reports.
Top 5s: The amount of Top 5 results after being in the BotD all day. An important part of the sport is the presentation of the sponsor. While the winner of a race of course gets quite some attention for the sponsor it is the group of brave men who try to outsmart the peleton by attacking from far, far out, who gets the sponsor most television time.
One guy was really the king of the breakaway: Andris Vosekalns raced nearly 2000 racing kilometres in early escaped group in the attempt to stay ahead. 4 of these attempts finished with a top 5 result out of a small group and even if no win was among them it is enough to win the award.
Most Improved Rider | | XP 2014 | XP 2015 | XP Gained | Bauhaus | Phil | 1,00 | 3,00 | 2,00 | Willwohl | Willi | 1,00 | 2,92 | 1,92 | Dzamastagic | Mark | 3,00 | 4,79 | 1,79 | Edmondson | Alexander | 1,24 | 3,01 | 1,77 | Mager | Christian | 2,13 | 3,52 | 1,39 | Vosekalns | Andris | 2,32 | 3,56 | 1,24 | Koch | Michel | 3,02 | 4,09 | 1,07 | Grand | Arnaud | 2,28 | 3,19 | 0,91 | Bekmanis | Indulis | 2,91 | 3,72 | 0,81 | Boivin | Guillaume | 3,25 | 4 | 0,75 | Hansen | Lasse Norman | 3,92 | 4,12 | 0,20 |
This award shows how many of our talents improved fantasticely. Phil Bauhaus is arguably one of the one with the biggest step forward but all others have done quite well, too.
It also shows how well we have cooperated with our many loaned in riders as well as how good the loaned out riders were managed. A big thanks again to those teams!
Award Summary | MVR | MOR | MVD | AOTY | MIR | 2014 | Geschke | Saramotins | Stoltz | Vosekalns | Bauhaus |
MVR: Most Valuable Rider
MOR: Most Overperformed Rider
MVD: Most Valuable Domestique
AOTY: Attacker of The Year
MIR: Most Improved Rider We thank everyone for following & cheering for this team and we hope that we will see you back here during the season which hopefully can be celebrated again with a Award Show afterwards. Thank you!

I like a assist ranking a lot. Some often under valued stat.
Also breakaway is interesting. Nice to see my loanies high up there.

Amazing work!
Honestly: Started smiling when I recognized you counted the times being in the break... and started laughing out loud when I saw you counted the kilometres, too. Just stunned you took the time create these interesting statistics. Thumbs up!

Thanks for commenting. Means a lot to me!
cio - Time consuming? Sure. But I could do most of it during the last year so not too much work at one time
roturn - I told you before that I was satisfied with the performance of both of them. Especially Edmondson had a fantastic conversion ratio of breakaways and Grand would have been higher in the Attacking statistic if I counted every attack/attempt and not just BotDs.
Scorchio - I guess I can't deny by now that I love stats myself If you have any ideas for more statistics drop me a pm so that I might steal the idea
Margh Norway - Says the one who counted top 30 stage results for his riders
I will continue to follow your team closely. All the best for you, too!
