THE PODIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am honestly ecstatic. It's not a win, but I was literary a Dan Martin non crash out away from taking the entire Velogames. Which should be disappointing, but I'm not. I am happy, and now I know exactly how to draft.
Nibali ended up minimizing the damage with GC and I cam within 50 of 2nd place.
In the end, I finished 54th overall.
GG guys, can't wait for the spring classics.

Barely maintained 2nd and was 50th overall, by far my best ever showing. Coupled with my 6th in the Tour, I closed the season very well after a disappointing Giro. Apparently I was 4th overall on Stage 15, narrowly missing a prize. I can only hope to achieve that top step of the podium one day. |

We talked about Valverde being a better pick than Nibali early on. And he was. But the gap was much smaller when the GC was counted, and I had some other good wildcards.

I busted with Betancur and Barta. Both had single digit points.

If Betancur had been there for GC and in shape, you would have had it. Althugh that could go back and forth because if I had Martin that could have changed it.
Nerz, Ulissi, and Ratto were good domestique picks.

33rd in Daily competition, not worst, not great. Lulu Sanchez and Henao were the downsides of my picks. On the other hand, good picks in Ratto, König and Stybar for low costs.

Hell yeah!
Won the PCMdaily rankings and Top 30'd the overall ones
Best pick for me was Betancur, with a stunning 4 points.
Wish I switched him for Moreno or Roche...

Congrats Jesleyh! A boringingly respectable 20 something placing for me, not knowing Bos was withdrawn didn't help though barely any true sprints anyway I guess. |

Respectable 15th place finish for me - hamstrung by sprint stages being spread around so Sagan>Cav and picking Voeckler in a post Europcar Dauphine scandal world.
Palmares for this season now reads:
Spring Classics 3rd of 105 - peaked too early
Giro 34th of 127 - poor performance matched by my main pick Wiggins
Tour 15th of 145 - hinting at a return to form in time for the Vuelta???
The above was post Tour - how wrong I was down to 27th (of 136) for the Vuelta :'(
Roll on next year!

What did you expect with nominating the single whole team? It could never work.

Does anyone know why there were no Spring Classics Velogames this year? their Twitter handle has been silent since January and the site hasn't been updated since the Vuelta.

Last year, roturn opened the thread on the 14th
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!
