Nope Yates would be the one i'd be pretty sure after that Doull maybe for the sprints Tom Stewart to win KOM might be a good bet though. |

Tour des Fjords have refused to allow Lampre-Merida the opportunity to participate in the race due to doping speculations.
Ballsy move by a tiny norwegian race. But a good move.

Tour of Beijing set to be 'hardest ever'
Not hard considering there has only ever been two races
No time trial, plus a finish atop the 'Mentougou Miaofeng Mountain' means we'll have a different winner than the past two editions.

Tour of Beijing didn't have a TT last year But yes, different winner is to be expected.

In other news, Quintana given hero's welcome. But what's even better, is the man on the left in this picture. There hasn't been much news about Soler and his recovery lately. Glad he's up there and looking better though

Soler looks good, for a guy who almost died. Hope during his non-carrer now he can help Quintana go better and better. Would be awesome. |

Quintana stated that it is possible to win the Tour clean now, contrary to the Armstrong period, and that the majority of the peleton is riding clean. He also said that Colombians have an advantage because they live on high altitude and that the Colombian team has a high chance to score a medal at the WC.
I only the believe the latter to be honest. |

Klier is suspended for half a year because he confessed using doping between 19999 and 2006. He has lost all his results since 21 July 2005.

Why do rider's only say: ''It's possible to win the Tour clean now'', when the Giro and the Vuelta are harder? |

I dont think it is harder to win Giro/Vuelta compared to Tour, because Tour is the place where top stage racers usually are and are there in top form. For example Nibali will maybe never win the Tour, but can have multiple Giro/Vuelta wins.

Giro and Vuelta are harder profiles, but the riders make the race, so I agree with Avin
However, it also depends on rider type. For Wiggins it's easier to win the Tour than the Vuelta, simply because of the TT/climbing ratio

Wiggins says his focus will shift back to the track. He acknowledges Froome's supremacy and says he can't compete with him so has nothing to do in le Tour

Good decision. He can do some great stuff on the track and he doesn't have to to downhill there |

That's because he doesn't do sprint events or peloton events on track. Diving from up the banking is quite scary on some tracks.
It's logical he admits defeat to Froome, since it's unlikely that within the couple of years (max) he's got left, he'll find another Tour more suited to him than the 2012 one.
And apparently he can't cope with the Sky diet any more either, since he claimed he'll be 7 or 8 kg (seven or eight, not two or three !) at the Worlds than during his victorious TDF. It's said to be very efficient on the short time but very unhealthy on the long term.
Still, I don't see him succeeding on track either. Too old and lost too much explosiveness, I reckon. |

WC-qualification revelaled.
Apparently Morocco and Iran are better cycling nations than Denmark, Portugal, Norway, Russia etc. and almost as good as Belgium and USA

Yes, how dare the best country in Africa have more riders than the 12th best country in Europe.
Bloody foreigners coming here, thinking they are as good as white people.

Don't ridicule Atlantius with this, he's right. This is not about Race, color, continent or whatever, but about cycling quality. And Denmark, Portugal, Norway etc have produced much better riders than Morocco and Iran. |
