According to Martins, Dupont is not a climber. And finishing 4th in the Giro does not make Gadret a climber either.
He's clearly right. Cyclocross riders can't climb.

Gonna end in tears for the chasers, they are letting Rolland lead down the descent.
wasn't he distanced by Schleck (of all people) on the descent yesterday?
I reckon both Riblon and Moser will be just fine getting caught by the big group. They got Bardet and De Marchi respectively that the finish would probably suit better.
Riblon is primarily there for the KoM, doubt he will have the strength to go for the final as well.
Even if he gets 3rd on Madeleine and de Tamié, he will have to attack again tomorrow to have a shot at KoM overall.
he is lucky that HC are first 2 climbs
It is great that there at least is someone outside the GC that has a chance of KoM at this point. Had the GC won yesterday, it would already be all decided. |

The worst part is that, as usual, he was being a major asshole, berating one of the other commentators, precisely the guy who is actually intelligent because how dare he claim that Dupont and Gadret are climbers

Anyone enjoying ITV 4 before Phil and Paul came on tweet them that they should save some cash and just have Imlach, Rendell and Boardman chatting for the full stage rather than "professional" commentary. |

But then we wouldn't be reminded by Paul that this was the valley Hannibal crossed with his 37 elephants!

Da f.....it's not known where Hannibal crossed. Theodore Dodge visited most of the valleys and passes in the region to try to find out and came up with a few options, but it's complete guesswork to name just one

Did I just see an interview with Vandenbroeck captioned "Tejay Van Garderen"?

Anyone else see that clip of riders being interviewed?
Vandenbroeck had the name 'Tejay van Garderen' next to him. Uhh.....
EDIT: It was clearly a pre-produced segment so major fail
