Isn't sagan the rider with the most exceptional progress? I hope for him it's pure talent.
It seems pretty steady to me. He rocketed straight to WT in 2010 and is improving year by year after that.
And again, he was junior WC in MTB and 2nd at junior WC in cyclocross in the same season (2008).

I have some doubts towards all riders, but I agree that Sagan and EBH aren't as suspicious as many others. Another guy I really want to believe is Dan Martin.

At least i'm not the type who goes around thinking about doping when I see one rider win alot of races. I often give riders the benefit of the doubt even though I believe most are still on doping.
I dont think number of wins is the best indicator for that anyway, rather how those wins are achieved and how frequently, besides other circumstantional evidence...

These three have also my big hopes, please let that never be destroyed.

Roelandts is one I believe in aswell. Don't know why, always liked the guy. Plus no ridiculous results from his side.

2 green jerseys?

The white jersey is for "combinada" classification, one green for points and the other for young

So both points and U25 will have green jerseys?
That's not going to be confusing at all...

Last year there was only one green jersey for the points classification. No jersey for best young rider at all.

The young riders competition existed lat year aswell thoug there was no jersey for it as UCI rules only allow 4 jerseys. Seems the rules have changed.
Too bad they stopped using the yellow-blue fish jersey

Like most of the commentators didn't have enough difficulties recognizing riders in the peloton. Make two distinctive green jerseys. That will help.

Isn't it combination?
On Dan Martin. I do believe he made quite a jump this year, but don't forget his results last year in the Ardennes were top 10s and one 5 I believe. He was 2nd in Lombardy in 2011. Has done very well in Catalunya and won a Vuelta mtn stage in 2011. Even befor that he was qinning smaller races like Japan Cup and Giro del Emilia. Not a tremendous jump from 5th to 1st or 6th to 4th IMO. I am a fanboy though. So take all with a grain of salt obviously.

However, I do withstand what I said earlier. In today's peloton, you can't win the biggest races clean.

I'm confused now which of these statements is true or is L-B-L not one of the biggest races?
Not that you can take anyhting for granted by I believe and hope that Martin is clean btw. |

Oops, that was a bit confusing
Well, I was talking mainly about stage races earlier. Classics are obviously hard as well, but I think the chances of a clean rider winning there is bigger than in the big stage races.

Just admit it clean riders are winning everything and everything in the world is pink and fluffly and wonderful!
There are Big Bad Wolves out there but more and more houses are made from bricks (currently new EPO test bricks) and I'm not going to let that ruin my fluffy day! |
