+1
If there was no limit then everyone can see hopes of winning on a flat stage disappear |

I'm going to be planning my race days to a limit of 70 days. Might as well get my startlists out early. |

Here's a suggestion:
A normal season counting with a roster of 30 riders, if each one rides 60 days it's a global of 1800 competitive days per team. If we agree that there are 8 riders per "race team", this gives you 225 "race days" to plan.
If we are just racing PT races, that is 143 "race days" that with a cross-multiplication this give you 38.1333 race days per rider. We can round to 40 days per rider.
Also, there are some races that overlap like:
PN and TA
Catalunya and GW
Duphine and Suisse
Vuelta and Hamburg/Poulay/Quebec/Monteal
I think we shouldn't be allowed to bring the same squad.
Sorry if this has been talked before. Let me know what you think about.

that means 1 GT per rider... 2 is doable in reality...
as its not in career mode the overlaps dont actually matter, but i think they should be included for realism
I'd suggest a 50 day limit, as this allows 2 GT's (42days) and another 1 or two races...
As an example
Boonen may race PN (8 days), MSR (1), GW (1), RVV(1), PR(1), TDF(21), Pologne(7), Eneco(7), Vatenfall(1), Quebec(1), Montreal(1) = 50days
and is a very realistic WT schedule for him
Contador could be TA(7), Catalunya(6), PV(6), Amstel(1), Fleche(1), LBL(1), Dauphine(7), TDF(21) = 50
and is again fairly realistic
rough working

Indeed, I like the 50 race days maximum. In this way you can't always get your best team in the race, which wouldn't be fair. |

I think that the fact of just one GT per rider is the key to have a more interesting season. We will have to choose very well what we ride. We wont be able to play with the fitness so all is about stats and team. Just playing PT there arnt races for all, so i was thinking to do it triky.

It would mean having to really plan
but lets take my contador eg and minus 10 days
that means (theoretically) losing the Ardennes and Dauphine
so he would only ride in 4 races on that calendar, as opposed to 8 with 5 days
but again it would make the small tours more open if people are going for GT's
the days isnt an issue for Cobbles or Sprinters. There are the Flanders, Eneco, Pologne for the "cobbles" riders, which is 17 days, so many spare in either system. MSR, Vatenfall, Beijing and a GT for sprinters is only 28 days, so again spare in either system. It only matters as a limit for GC riders, and to stop people being unrealistic
all this is fairly moot for me with my cobbles and flat team

that is mainly the reason that I sold all my major cobble riders, the amout of cobble races is just really low

Look guys, our riders will tire after having had too many racedays, so let's just do a season in Career mode with only the WT races, and you can decide yourself which riders you want where.
