I missed a Ben Swift bet and lost 50$
But I got 100$ back on Froome. Thta was a weird matchup, purely luck, and for those I always go for higher odds.

In the "another rider" category. There can only be a certain amount of riders in a bet, 11. I picked the riders I found most suitable, to spread out the odds a bit. You can't squeeze in all the GC riders in every bet. This time Roche isn't in, next time he might be.

I think all bids made after 16.30 should be made invalid...
For the record, betting is still open

I'll make sure that it closes with more of a margin during the rest of the stages. I don't think anyone expected it to finish this early.
Doesn't really matter though, since I've closed today's bet now.

Oh God. Well I went all in for Rodriguez. Hope he doesn't screw up.
The hardest part of betting for me is figuring out who to cheer for. I don't think Roche could win the stage but if he somehow did I wouldn't want to be angry over it.
I'm sure someone has caught on by now about why I'm always cheering for the Irish guys so I'm gonna put it out there- my blood is mostly Irish.
Anyway, I'm looking foward to the 2013 betting season now. It's been ups and downs, and if my bet for tomorrow looses out, I will have blown the whole $550 account I had going after the cobbled season down to $1. Well, I had to go all in. $185 doesn't get anything in this economy after the worth of the dollar went up after The Tour.
I had no internet for a full day. I was gonna blow all my money on Froomechken. Now I at least know fate is on my side.

I would like to file a complaint. For the Stage 15 bet, the bet closed very late and those who bet then could bet everything without risk. Because of this, I slipped many places for no reason. It is as unfair to this as doping is to cycling. It is not in the nature of the game, is anything but good for it, and I will not rest until these results are taken away. I hope I have made myself clear.
Sincerely,
Baseballlover312

It's not possible to remove after they've finished.
I apologize for setting the closing time a bit late. I agree that it opened up an opportunity for people to jump in late without risk, but there's nothing to do about that. And even if it was possible to delete the bet afterwards, it wouldn't be fair to the people who placed their bet earlier, without profiting from knowing that the break would stay clear.
I've made sure that it closes much earlier for tomorrow's stage, and it will in future bets. There's not really much else to do now.

Yes, but the 20 or so people who profitied over $1000 is done. Ruins the betting classification for the year, really.

Well I can't even do it until that night. The bet closes 8:00 AM. my time. So you can't complain.
And pelli, that's just because not everyone had that much money. There were at least 20 who maxed out from it. Either you rob the few who didn't cheat, or you rob all the other members who didn't. Your choose.
This will not be the end of this. It ruins the betting standings for the whole year.

Its a game. Its not even real money. You get a little banner saying you are the betting champ, thats it.
Just enjoy it.
And either way, people aren't going to be happy, and either way its not going to be fair for someone. Pelli already said he can't do anything, so there's nothing to argue over really.

It is just a game. But rigging the game stops people from enjoying it. It's just like doping in cycling. Ruins the nature of the game and I won't stand for it. I will probably get banned for this. But if that's the last thing I do here, at least i'll know I left for something right. Anyway, it's jsust a game, this is just a site.
