Yeah, but irl was it a 11km stage either?

Yes its 11.4km to be precise and Christiano Salerno one of my favourite riders won that stage last year.

David was so close ... 2 minute gap on just a 11 km course! I hope he can put a win in the standings soon Wink

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan6profile.jpg

My Plan: With only an easy flat stage remaining after this stage, I think I want to try and remain fresh in case something happens. I dont want to force any attack because I'm happy with the position i'm in, but who knows. I need a result to please my directors or else I may be jobless at the end of the season.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan6winner.jpg
So with a break getting away without one of our guys we were asked upon to chase, and like any French team we declined. This group in the lead had 7 minutes gap at one point, then Arashiro yelled something to Astana, and they began the chase. I have never seen Yukiya yell before so he must have be in good shape for the finish.

Unlucky for him there was a major crash right before the finish and he lost all momentum, yet still finished 16th. Pretty solid. That Polish guy won.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan6doicrash.jpg
Unlike the Tour de France a crash inside 3km doesn't give you the same time as teveryone else, only inside the last km will that happen, so fan favourite Yukihro Doi of Skil is cheered on by fans as he rushes to the line.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan7profile.jpg

My Plan: Today is the final stage. Today is Arashiro's day, so the plan is to have someone in the break, and then hopefully they get pulled back and Arashiro gets set up nicely for the sprint, with this weak-ish field. The only one who should contend with him is Bernardo Riccio of D'Angelo. Normaly I would help Arashiro in the sprint, but the team directors don't want me to risk it.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan7break.jpg
The BOTD, here with Charteau. They get a manageable gap but it slowly descends through the stage.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan7attack.jpg
Anthony makes a suicide attack with 12km left. Around this point Riccio, drops back and retires. He must have had too much wasabi this morning, and had nasal issues or something, but anyway, Arashiro should have the stage now.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan7sprint.jpg
Here goes the sprint, with Arashiro in good position. He has no room on the barriers so he'll have to take it through the middle.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/japan7winner.jpg
And Arashiro takes the win. This is what we were hoping for. With my 9th overall and Yukiya's win this will turn out to be a great Tour of Japan.

After the great finish to the Tour of Japan, I was shocked to find out that the team was not happy with my result. This is especially bad news as I don't have a contract for next season with Europcar and I'm sensing some animosity between myself and the team.
Because of my "poor" result the team have chosen Cyril Gautier to ride in my place for Ryedale GP, East Yorkshire Classic, and the Urkiola Igoera Subida Urkiola. I feel they must think Gautier and I are the same type riders and that they are favouring him over me because of his nationality. If this is the way they want it to be, I might have to leave the team during the July transfers, although I do like my place in this team. I think FDJ might have interest in me as Rollin is already with them. Either way, I just have to focus on getting a good result at the ProRace Berlin if I'm to get a contract extension with Europcar.

Let david walk. It would be interesting to see if another team would sign. Spidertech?

Tour of Japan was nice, good result for David and also Arashiro did great winning the last stage.

Very interesting situation now, with David not going to some races and a possible change of teams going on. I wanna see what will happen Smile

Thanks everyone, glad you like, this blog idea then. Maybe I'll make some more blog entries to make this more interesting.

The Killer wins it all!
This years Giro was a nail-biter. Danilo Di Luca won this years edition by 23 seconds over Michele Scarponi and 41 seconds over Stefano Garzeli. This was a very close race and many thought Di Luca would lose his lead on the final day of racing. Damiano Cunego took two early stage wins on Stage 5 and 6 to take an early lead in the GC, with Di Luca 48 seconds behind at that point. Then on stage 12 Emanuele Sella won the stage by 3 minutes over everyone else and he took the maglia rosa with a 2 minute buffer over the GC riders. For him that lead could be possible to keep. Then on Stage 15 Di Luca took 1 minute out of all the other GC riders with a 4th place finishing just behind the breakaway riders.

Di Luca then won the stage 16 TT and took the Maglia Rosa from Sella. Stage 17 saw Petacchi's 5th win of the Giro, and a lock for the points jersey. Stage 18, 19 and 20 saw Di Luca lose 48 seconds to Gazeli Scarponi and Nibali, but he was able to limit his losses and keep the Pink jersey. Then the final TT and Di Luca lost nearly a minute to Garzeli, and 45 seconds to Scarponi, barely keeping his GC lead.

Tour de France Wildcard Accepted; Riders Chosen

www.bbc.co.uk/kent/content/images/2007/01/16/tour_de_france_logo_203x152.gif

We are very happy to announce that we have been given a spot in the Tour de France this year. The biggest race of the season for us, and we hope to bring a good squad with us to hunt for stage wins. not only that but we think that Voeckler can be the best placed French Rider in the Tour and that Turgot can win one stage. This will be tough, but we think its better to aim high for goals.
We have also chosen our 9 riders for the race and our 3 back-up riders in case of injuries.

Strange that Berlin Pro Race didn`t work. For me it runs perfect. Did it just crash while loading or during the stage?

For me it took about 10 minutes to load the stage and then everytime as the start city was appearing it would just freeze and crash.

Is it possible it has a lot of graphical content in it, like tons of cities and water? Because to be honest I forgot to try on lower settings.

The start city (Berlin) might be quite big but other than that just as most of my stages.
I always test my stages with maximum details and never had crashes with this one.
Just stages with sea crash quite often and have to be rebuild.

Does it maybe have any extra 3d objects that I'd need. Maybe I'm missing that?
