It's somewhat annoying when strong wind makes it impossible to travel to our family with ferry. Hopefully it "slows down" tomorrow, and we can leave early in the morning.

From me too you. Merry Celebration-of-the-questionable-birth-of-a-guy-who-may-or-may-not-have-lived-but-who-most-definately-wasn't-born-on-this-day-but-infact-was-born-a-few-weeks-from-now.
Have a good one!

Here's a fun little topic for you to discuss:
Within the world of cycling, what would be the best Christmas present for you?
I'd have to say the retirement of McQuaid.
Lance getting his rightful wins back!

No offence, but it's not about what you (or me) think in this case. We're nobodies.
Almost all serious historians agree that there was a man living there during the Roman occupation, more or less around 30 AC. He had people following him, he was revered by some, but hated by others. He healed some people using methods of the physios of the time (doesn't sound too magical, but might be efficient nonetheless), and talked about religious stuff a lot (who could have guessed ? ).
He travelled all around the country, and went to Jerusalem at least twice (first time for Branches, second for Eastern, both events didn't happen the same year or with one week difference).
I have no idea whether the English wikipedia page is as interesting as the French one, but the reading about the historical Jesus (whose magical powers are not proven) was really interesting a couple of years ago.

Suddenly somebody would find out there's something that has been refraining my cycling performances in really huge proportions for all those years, it's easy to fix and I'll start racing again, make it to the pros and win big there.
On a more realistic and less egoistic note, now L.A.'s been nailed, that'd be Verbruggen and McQuaid's corruption made public (and the one of their likes), leading them to resign and pro cycling really starting again on a new basis. Something like that.

That's basically what I mean. No matter what he did and what became of it there was probably a guy like that born. There is historical evidence isn't there?
