Bardiani must have 3 in the Top 15 but none in the Top 10 today. |

See Farrar? When you actually launch your sprint you can do some good. The podium is not bad and very close to 2nd.

Giacomo Nizzolo eternally unable to get that elusive stage victory and almost eternally second. Confirmed as the newer and better J.J. Rojas!

Even more impressive that he didn't crash when Farrar tried to kill him, like Farrar always does. |

Well done Mezgec, what a transformation. From dominating Chinese races 2 years ago, to winning final stage in GT!
Nizzolo though, gotta feel for him. 4 times 2nd...;/

Interesting to see that 8 of the 10 Top 10 riders in the GC are under 30 and even more that 4 of them are under 25, grandpas its time to make place for the new generation
Also interesting to see the glovalization of cycling, it was the first time in all the History that a Grand Tour hasnt been lead by an European rider |

Also 13 stages were won by riders aged 25 or younger, with Weening and Rogers the only winners over 30.

Maybe because of less doping? |

Moto GP is more fun, it goes faster and all.
Nah, seriously : less doping, makes a level playing field, most leaders are at the edge of what can be done clean, and almost all of them have the same level, or close to. Add to that that they don't look at each other but climb almost as fast as they can, and that leaves almost no room for accelerations, sci-fi style attacks, etc.
Also, less of them have bad days due to a bad timing for transfusion or a poor assimilation of the extra red cells (or a bad day due to the absence of a refill the day before). |

For there to be exciting racing in the new cleaner era the radio communication and the motherfucking power meters has to go... especially the power meters, of course they don't attack when the computer tells them they can't, no matter how they feel |
