@miggi133: First of all - thank you! Especially for the Irish part  I like this language's "look" and sound, too!
The Academy-thing: I do understand your point. But I don't worry about "outperforming" my pro-squad. The Academy is more like a 'team for smaller races', and I will be fine with some good results there The idea was to give this talents (though some of them are already good riders) a chance to compete in races without our captains (Duarte, Rujano, Gerdemann etc).. but it's the first time, I tried to "split" my roster into two "groups", so.. lets go and good luck

So.. let's switch to season 2012!
Here's a short list of most important changes for upcoming season:
- Astana and Saxo Bank replaced by GreenEdge and Leopard Trek
- new jerseys for several ProTour-teams
- Added a few teams to Conti-League (most of them from USA and Australia)
- Added several smaller races (mostly in Australia, USA) => for our Academy-project
- because of this 2012-season probably being the final year of this story, I've also edited some weird transfers, to make this year as realistic as possible (for example: Löfkvist signed with Team Sprocket I moved him to Garmin)
- added several new routes for more important races like roturn's excellent MSR and Roubaix; I will go for Emmea's Giro 2011-version and his Tour de France-variant, too! Vuelta is yet not decided => I would like to wait for Pellizotti's variant WIP...
So.. one question to you, readers:
Would you like to have a small preview of all ProTour-teams? Maybe with the team's key-riders and most important transfers?

Tsmoha: Superb reading as ever, I can echo all that has been said here. Would like to see how your evolved 2012 Protour line up looks.
It will be very interesting to see how Team Dark Dog can do having to compete in all the races.

Great presentation. Your Vuelta squad might be very strong.
Imepy also became one of the best hilly sprinters. Good chances in MSR actually. |

@roturn: Thank you, too! Duarte wants to make the podium in Vuelta this year, and with Rujano and Deignan he will get better support than last season Impey should indeed have good chances in MSR; but he wasn't that succesfull in 2011, although he won a stage in Paris-Nice..

Btw, you said about Impey with good chances in MSR, but are you taking part of it? Because it isn't on the calendar.. unless you consider it a smaller race

belive it or not, i read all your story, from the begging. i can tell you just one thing: You are really good! transforming a small team in a proTour team in 2 years is remarcable. and by the way, great presenation to you 2011 season. Good Luck! |
