Tromsø would be nice

Great win in any case, and a perfect match for Maes to start building up a penalty killer reputation

Sanchez involved in the goal but definitely disappointed to give the ball away for the equaliser. Good to see the team gathering some form before the start of the season.
I was wondering if you were actually playing. Relying on your FIFA skills

I'm not liking the correlation between how much Bobson plays and how well the team performs.

Nice to see that we're improving as we go along. Hope Torres gets some more play time and can contribute better than the first game.
As for the friendly tournament, I would say Parma and someone like Saint Etienne or Montpellier, along with df_trek's suggestion of Tromso.

Thanks for the suggestions. Little heads up that the Serie C (or B) is not in FIFA, so we can't play against Palermo. Parma might be possible, because iirc I did see them in the 'rest of the world' section.
@LLS: 50% relying on my fifa skills, but 50% relying on you guys picking decent stat gains as well soon. I didn't expect it to be so frustrating to control players who are unable to do anything

We drew against Cercle, which was an emotional game for goalie Maes. We decided our other goalie, Santana, deserved an emotional game by playing against a South American team, and invited Argentinean outfit Aldosivi to our home ground. This was our starting line-up.
Only two minutes in and we see Aldosivi already missing an open goal. Were we going to concede quickly, leading to a heavy defeat again? No! Daily Destroyers put their heads together and it was CDM Wall who saw his shot deflected into a corner after a good pass from Torres. Martens delivered the corner perfectly, and it was Torres himself who headed the ball into the back of the net! The Argentineans were unable to stop our Spanish striker, 1-0 after eight minutes!
https://youtu.be/...
Torres came close to a second goal ten minutes later, after a good pass from Callahan was not rewarded with a goal from our Spaniard. Ottaviani and Perfetto had a misunderstanding on the counter attack, but a very necessary touch from goalie Santana saw the Argentinean shot end on the crossbar. This was just a stay of execution however, as in minute 25 Aldosivi equalized after some quick passing in and around our box.
Both teams got some chances in an interesting match then. For us, it was Huber and once again Wall who were close to a goal, while Santana saved two shots from the boys in yellow and green. Nevertheless, in minute 42, our Torres-Martens connection ensured the lead once again! Bobson chose the right moment to move forward and found Torres inside the box, and after the Aldosivi keeper deflected the ball it was Martens who was at the right spot to slot it in! 2-1 at halftime, and although we were the better team, Santana's saves were still needed to ensure us the lead.
Whereas the first half was very open and interesting, the second half was all but that. Except for Nuts, Washington and Sanchez coming in, not a lot happened in the first half hour. Aldosivi started playing more attacking though, and once again two great saves by Santana kept us in the lead.
The Argentineans went all or nothing, which gave us a lot of space to counter. That is exactly what we did, and how! Perun reached Ottaviani in the box with five minutes to play, and a solid pass from the Sanmarinese to Washington saw the latter score his first goal for the team with a simple tap in! 3-1 in minute 86!
Everyone on our squad then started defending, which didn't go smoothly to be fair. Aldosivi managed to score the 3-2 deep in the extra time, but immediately after the referee blew his whistle three times, which was followed by a glorious party that will never be forgotten, first win baby!

Two conceded against some a team WHO CANT AFFORD CLEATS is pathetic. That's what happens when Deez Nuts is benched in favor of defenders who get made fun of on the street

Good attacks, good keeping, but not the best defensive game. Duffman is confident to get his starting spot back for the first real game!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Great job! Hoping for a good pre-season "friendly tournament" now, so the teamwork gets even better - and Nemo's fingers too

Wasn't expecting to see Bobson on the rush, but very happy to contribute to a goal.

Meanwhile we also know who we are going to play against in the friendly cup. We definitely evaded the group of death. We'll play four games in total: three against the teams in our group and then one last game against a team from group B to decide our final ranking. The higher we rank, the more stat points I'm able to give away before the season starts.

Good to see the team discover how to win a game which sets us up well going into pre-season.
Sanchez now understanding of the squad rotation with Huber also in CAM. He’s learning he can also be an off the bench impact!

Great to enjoy the team's first win! Let's keep those coming!
It would also be nice for Santana to have a game where he just sits and drinks his coffee.
