Mind you, NAC (Fluimucil) is somehow of an hidden gem for hungovers. I bet that's the real reason they gave it to Wiggo if they ever did

Funvic suspended by UCI for a period of 55 days. Good thing UCI put that supension in the off-season, otherwise it would had looked like a punishment!

Indeed San Juan might have been the season highlight for them, so that's a hurting punishment...

Womens news, but it's worth sharing more widely
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/zwift...nyon-sram/
The Canyon/Sram Zwift Academy winner is: Leah Thorvilson.
A 37yo former Marathon runner who only took up cycling 2015 due to injury.
Honestly i don't like this. All three finalists seem kinda dodgy (another 37yo who took up cycling in 2015 after injury, and a 40yo Ironwoman competitor). Certainly none of them look at all like "talents" or that they'd have any sort of long-term future in the sport.
On the one hand there's no major risk to Canyon-SRAM. It's only a 1-year contract and the publicity will be big. And the team has enough quality in it to be fine for getting results.
But it's not a ringing endorsement for the concept that the best "talent" they could find has a known injury problem and is 37!
Fully expecting thise to be a big bust. But the upside to that is, there is no way Leah can dissapoint me with her performances.
But that contract should have gone to an actual rider with a real future in the sport and some sort of proven predigree, even at a junior level...

I agree. They've been around for a while however lets face it, for the last few years they have been slowly getting worse and worse to a point where they are fairly pointless within the World Tour.
I think it's a bigger shame for Italian cycling. Do they have a World Tour team anymore?

UCI has finally confirmed the WT Points system for 2017.
https://www.uci.ch/pressreleases/singl...-from-207/
Unifies the WorldTour Ranking with the World Ranking, so that it's a 1:1 scale. The World Ranking looks to still be a rolling format.
The WorldTour will no longer rank nations, that being purely for the World Ranking. This will increase the importance of the Continental Circuits for this competition of best nation.
The Team WorldTour ranking will now include all riders on the team, not just the best 5.
The Top60 finishers in a race will now score points, not the Top20.
Tour de l'Avenir gets it's points doubled for U23 Rankings, increasing it's copmarision as the GT of U23 racing.
You can read a full set of the rules changes yourselves, it's far too complicated to try and list
