I can also add a stage win for Valverde @Â 21,00. I haven't played with my heart, but this one time, I do. I have a hunch that he might surprise tomorrow. Well I always do
On the contrary, I like your h2hs. I hesitated a little on Kruijswijk @ 2,37, but now that it fell and Nibali rose, its fine I guess. I won't touch it tho..
Visconti is an ego tripper and will go 100% for his 14th spot or whatever. Kangert is a team player, will rest and be ready for the more important tasks.. probably.
The last one is without a doubt the most value IMO. |

I also think Valverde could do a great time trial, but I won't put money on it. I'll be disappointed enough if he fails, so I don't need the added disappointment of losing money as well
Nibali has a great history in stages like this, and didn't lose much to Kruijswijk today in what was basically Kruijswijk's dream stage. The Dutchman should find the TT too short and punchy. In 2011 he was way worse in the MTT than in the mountains.
I had a look at two other h2hs which I didn't dare to take: Jungels over Roglic @ 1.50, where I think Jungels will go all out and do reasonably well, while Roglic should be rested for the team. But then again they might just want to test him in what could be his ideal type of stage. Also Verona over Monfort @ 2.20, where Monfort is knackered after today, and said he expects to lose time tomorrow, while Verona should on paper be good at MTTs. He's just a tad too unproven for me.
Again, I don't like your Pozzovivo bet The outcome of an MTT generally reflects the relative climbing form of the riders (see Giro 2014) and Uran was just too superior today, I think. The TT should suit Pozzo too, though.

Squire, should I close my Jungels bet for the youth GC? Played 35 DKK @ 13 and can possibly win 450, but can close for 280 DKK. Im hella scared for Henao and think Jungels might crack on one of the two last stages.. |

Well, 11 minutes is still a lot, and he's being very careful about finding his own tempo. And compared to your winnings so far, we're talking peanuts here.
If you want to close it, maybe you're better off waiting a few days if you have that option. Jungels might gain some time to Pinerolo, but on the other hand, he might lose some to Andalo. Don't think the difference in the TT will be very much.
I'd say it's 50-50 whether it's a good idea. And I'd say you've often gone for worse odds than that so far, with success

Shots fired!
But thanks, I don't think I'll close and I won't close any of the other bets either (can ve found on the first page). |

The comeback is on! Good profit today. Dombro had the biggest stakes.
I should start doing the Riis123 thing, trusting my gut feeling. It said Kruijswijk today, but my logical thinking had me going for Nibali. Also Valverde>Zakarin, Jungels>Roglic, Verona>Monfort were all gut feelings I should have trusted.
Wish I could remember what the odds for Foliforov were.

Had a small bet on Valverde for the stage win. Close but no cigar. Also glad I didn't place any bets on Nibali despite being the bookmaker's favourite.
Stage 16 looks interesting, might put some higher amounts if the right bet comes along. |

Nothing too juice for tomorrow:

Will the luck ever run out?
Couldn't find any super duels really. I hesitated a little on Kruiswijk > Chaves @ 2,50, I shouldn't have since it was lowered.
300 DKK Dombro > Visconti @Â 2,20 |

Many did, me included. It was a good value bet, but as you said, close but no cigar... keep playing odds like that and you will win in the long run.
I played 300 on Nibali @ 2,87 before the time trial yesterday, now its dropped to 7,00. Not too good, but I still think that Nibali will have something left in the end. |

Tomorrow could be fun!
Stage 16
Igor Anton over Merhawi Kudus @ 1.75
Alexander Foliforov over Rein Taaramae @ 1.95
Sergey Firsanov Win @ 35
David De la Cruz Win @ 80
Let's hope Foliforov didn't celebrate his stage win in a typical Russian manner.
I've also had a couple of overall bets going:
Alejandro Valverde Overall win @ 4.30
Damiano Cunego KoM win @ 4.50
One looks good, the other not so good.

You are really betting on the Gazprom-riders, huh?
It wouldn't surprise me if they came out guns blazing. On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me if they will be as invisible as they have been in 2 weeks either. You are playing the lottery! |
