Petar 4th in GC Please please can he hold that!
The downside being COC are also having a great race and Mobil have 3 stage wins. If i were Siam or Euskaltel i'd start looking over your shoulder

Rider in the break and Augustyn maintains his spot. Lovkvist and Panayotov are inching closer. However, with the way J-L is riding he could've been in with a shot at winning the stage if he didn't waste energy following the attacks early on.
Jacques has also moved up to 15th on GC, which is awesome. Stetina is just outside the top 20, and will surely move up later.

No need to look over the shoulder for me. Since February/March of the season, downwards the table is the direction I'm heading, so it's a straight look for me. |

On the evidence of Panayatov and Maillet's performances so far, I think it may be worth sending Elissonde here next season...
Great race so far for Mobil, Eritel, COC and whatever TMM's team is called this year. Could be a very interesting ranking update after this. |

I still think Mobil is one of the bad teams here unfortunately...
True. Granjel Cabrera might be a positive surprise by being that dominant. But they surely had hoped for sprint and GC points and 2nd is clearly lacking. When using 21 race days and in especially when fighting against relegation, every point counts. Seeing Chernobyl and Lululemon scoring consistenly as well GC wise, Mobil is in need for high scoring. So while his scoring here surely is very good, the potential could be higher if his climbers would do better and avoid losing tons of times on flat stages.
That all said, I am still happy to see Chernobyl and Lululemon doing well here as I like those teams as well and would like to see them somehow surviving in PCT alongside Mobil.
Regarding the other teams. Berhane in the pole position is really cool to see. Lövkvist a bit behind by expectations but I think he will do well the longer the race goes. Atapuma with a big race for a CT team so far and Augustyn doing well to keep Africa up. Still thinking Eastman would have been the better choice though. |

Tvetcov! 2nd is great, and moving into the top 10 is good, with two TTs as well, we should hope for more Karpets falling away slightly so maybe he can get in the breaks come the 3rd week or something, would be a good chance for a stage win...

That's better, after some downs Kreder showed up and took a top 5 in a sprint. And then Lövkvist won the next stage, great. Hopefully he will keep on getting better and better the longer the race goes and at least make it to the podium. |

I don't regret not sending Eastman at all. He did great in Vancouver, Bulgaria, Osterreich Rund., and (okay in) Andorra. As well as scoring really good points in some of the one-day races. I would've only regretted not sending him if SN didn't bring Berhane. That being said, I'll probably bring him next year after I've got a leader for other terrains.

Another very stong stage by Anacona is nice to see.
However also amazing to see CAS continue his great season and especially seeing Lehtinen in there with the big names climbing to 6th in youth and helping us take FIRST place in the team competition. Extremely happy to see such a strong team effort around Winner.

Kononenko is incredible, give that man a statue!
GC still looking good, although I had hoped Kashechkin would be better...

Remind yourself of the top 15 rankings goal? Man, I was drunk when I thought that would happen.
Pedraza is losing more time, and not gaining enough time on the riders that are ahead of him to finish at least top 15. I'm fucked |

Race still going very well for Eritel. With a stage win already achieved, no complaints at all about 2nd for Van Heerden - nice that Van der Sande is toning down his leadouts a bit too.
And Berhane is doing a great job covering everything, and trying to make further gains.
Thanks tsmoha.

Cool to see Winner with such a strong race. Looks as if the gamble might have been a great decision!
Also COC with great team depth so far in the GC. Can they keep those positions?
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Amazing race from Winner. Team competition down the drain and since we're gonna have to do some more work now that will only get worse. But hey: WE LEAD THE TOUR OF AMERICA

Anacona
One step forward towards the dream of a CT win in a PCT GT
Was weird to see Berhane suffering to be honest, but there are still far too many mountain stages to go! Congrats viking, and thanks for the detailed report tsmoha

Oh poop, Haga lost the jersey. He needs to start winning the sprints down the road if he wants to be a serious contender
Thanks tsmoha and congrats Swedbank. Two mountain stages in a row is impressive
