Why aren't you people comparing Talansky's 1st GrandTour with Kwiatkowski's current?
Because the conversation is who is the better climber, not who has more potential.

He can do practically everything. He has shown most potential towards hilly classics and stage races so far, but can also sprint and ride well on the cobbles.
So kind of like EBH?
Yep, but a better climber.

Stage 15 Kwiatkowski

Stage 18: By far Talansky
Stage 19: Talansky
Stage 20: Talansky BY FAR
Because Garmin was blowing up the race for Dan Martin.
And with that then.
any special reason to compare Kwiatek and Talansky?
if we talking about white jersey do the same table with Quintana |

Kwiatek is x2 better than fucking Andrew Talansky!
I'm sorry how many mountain stages did Kwiatek beat him on?
Talansky gained a minute on Ax-3, then lost 7 minutes in Bagneres-de-Bigorre, regained same amount thanks to breakaway to Lyon and lost another 3 minutes on Ventoux. Gained another half a minute on stage to Gap, on Alpe he won by 2 minutes, on next stage by 1,5 minutes and in Semnoz also won by another 1,5 minutes. To sum up, apart from TTs and flat stages (including breakaway to Lyon) in mountains Kwiatek was faster by 4 minutes.

Talansky is a better climber and has better 3rd week recovery. And in ITT he is worse, but not by much. Talansky is the bigger GT talent. Especially because he seems to get less worse in the 3rd week. Proven by yesterday
Indeed, by now Talansky is a better climber, it will be interesting though to see how Kwiatek will develop in the next years.

He's still young, but in last interview made by Polish Eurosport he told that stage races are easier for him than classics and he's going to target both one-week and three-week ones in future. |

It was ironical. People call him a wheelsucker while he attacks a lot
