You have probably no idea how beta tests are working?

Even if you would have 1000 beta testers, you aren't fixing the problems, thats up to others and not the beta testers.

If you would have 1000 beta testers who are fixing the problems, then you could easily gather those 1000 and make an own game of cycling.

1) FIX RESISTENCE BUG!!! this stat was mysteriously disabled this year as they did whit acc in 2007-2009.
Every year cyanide disable a stat, cyanide dont want to do work properly all stat in the same version.

2) link FTR to red bar or cancel it. This stat is useles because for the human it dont work and for AI it is not clear if it works, I think FTR is only an other disabled stat!

Bumping this thread, as it's getting closer to the time the developers start thinking about what to put into PCM 2014.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere in this thread or on the forums, but I'd like to see a jersey for the most combative/attacking rider of the day as they have in the real world races. Surely there would be a system whereby the game could calculate this based on attacks made by riders, the number of attacks they make in the stage and the strength and success of their attacks. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to add and not sure why Cyanide haven't added this into the game yet. I think it would be a nice addition, along with getting all that is currently in the game right.

It's certainly a good idea to implement but to be honest attacks in PCM are random at best. Sometimes a rider with shit stats tries an attack yet doesn't work, other times vice versa. An "attack" is always launched near a KOM, yet that would have nothing to do with combative. At first it seems that it would be easy to implement into the game but really it's asking Cyanide to revamp their whole attack programming.

Cyanide to revamp their whole attacking programming; now that would be one of the best improvements they could make with the game.

One thing I have always missed in the game: Mp3 manager!! Something as simple as having the possibility to play random songs from your Mp3 files, or to jump from one to the next, instead of always listen to the same songs in the same order....

Why not use your favourite music player while playing PCM? Just turn off the in-game music.

If I remember correctly, there IS a music player in the game and you can add your own songs to it. It is even explained in the manual, at least it was in previous games.

How is the current state of the game? I decided not to buy it and wait due to all the issues reported.

Is it better then 2012 (which I still enjoy!)?

My idea for training is training 'points'.
I know the game works similarly to this already, so maybe not too hard to implement, but who am I to say?

Say your rider is given so many points, say, 12.
You then decide where to spend those points.
They act as a multiplier to the training speed, the more you put on, the more you get out.
Eg. My climber spends 3 on mt, 4 on hill and 3 on acc.
This is for more personal training as at the moment it is a bit boring.

This came about as sometimes I want to improve, say, acc, but not sprint or hill, just bring it up.

Maybe limit it, obviously points don't have massive impact, having
1- you can only put max 6
2- that still is only the same as about 3-4 on current chart.
3- 12 is a silly number, maybe 6 is better, or 8.

Also, that would create a Cervero anyway Pfft

Good. So no game breaking bugs?

It's currently €39.99 on steam. Best deal I've found recently is €25 for physical copy and €30 for digital. If anyone stumbles across a good deal for steam download please let me know.

@The Hobbit: You can edit the DB to make it work like that. Obviously it would apply to all riders using that training. But maybe you could add additional training programs.

@Jesleyh: It would be possible to limit it to 4 or 5 per stat. (At the moment the max is 3 if I remember correctly)

But I am against it too. It would give you an unfair advantage over the AI riders.
And I really don't want Cyanide to program an AI logic for something like that, they have more important programming to do.
