By how much now Peter leads the green jersey competition, 100 points? I think he will win it by more than 200 points in the end, if he will not crash out. Cav will have problems to even finish Tour and Greipel can beat Sagan only in some three stages now.

EBH lacks top speed, and sprinter's instincts. Sky gave him lead at classics, what he wanted and failed, it's not like he's not been given chances..
This. Massive talent which he'll never fulfill because he completely lacks ambition and the killer instinct necessary to take the final steps, either it is as a sprinter, classics rider or for stage races.
Edit: rephrase

Too easy for Sagan in the end, partly thanks to Degenkolb's timing, but Sagan can only beat what is in front of him. (As the saying goes) |

Great teamwork of Cannondale. But Benatti was looking good. |

Wasn't Cannondale supposedly a weak team? That was in incredible performance. |

Yes, great way to respond to the criticism. We know they lack power at the sharp end but clearly the endurance for the 100km leadout is there and who cares if you just have to drop someone off with a km or 2 to go! |

God damn it, Sky! Give Hagen just ONE guy as a leadout! When you contantly have to position yourself on somebody elses wheel and has to do everything on your own, it's gets pretty hard.
They could have had one, maybe two stage wins by now.

Whoever said Cimolai great fourth, it was Kwiatek.
I was suprised he didn't show up in the Top10 after I clearly saw the white jersey behind the first three. Makes me wonder where Cimolai ended up then? I can't believe Lampre led out for Mori there.
Alexis Vuillermoz 14th? Impressive.

Well, there you go! Everything Sky does with Edvald is "almost"! Had he gotten some help he would have done it.
But on a serious note, what does that have to do with anyting?

Look at Edvald`s stats on pcm. He is pretty good at everething! I remember already in pcm 2010 he had all stats light green! He should shift team and specialise on stage races and time trial. He has taken the "easy" way many years now, with being a OK sprinter.
But as you guys says, he lack the killer instinct and ambitions. Sky ruined his talent. |

This is not fault of Sky so much, Hagen is here to blame too. He is overhyped and thinks he is something he is not, like sprinter or classic specialist.

Actually it's completely opposite. He's far too humble (watch interviews he does. Like today when he totalfailed the sprint, he just smiles happily. Compare that to Cavendish's rampage yesterday), and happily does what the team management tells him to do. He doesn't have the ambition to make demands for support or to make the decision to specialize more for stage races. He needs management more set on developing him. Someone to give him a push in the right direction.
It's not really Sky's fault, as they naturally prioritize british riders, but he's wasting his talent staying there. Unfortunately he won't leave as long as they're happy with him. Again due to lack of ambition.
