I hope that both Ulissi and Battaglin dont go to SKY, they deserve to get a free role or even to be a leader

Very interesting rumours. If Uran is about to leave Sky, Ulissi would be a great replacement I would think.
I hope Gatto doesn't go to OPQS, IAM would be a much better fit.
Battaglin to Cannondale sounds good too. |

None of them mentioned to Lampre? If Ulissi leaves, Scarponi leaves and they don't have to pay Petacchi anymore, they should have some money to sign two or three of those

Gatto has been linked to them earlier. I think they wanted him as Pozzato's co-leader in the cobbled classics.

Maybe you can add Lampre add all those riders then? I think they really have to contract new riders with potential, because they don't have a lot anymore. Only Cunego and Pozzato as the most well-known riders.

I really hope Ulissi stays at Lampre, they can build half of the team around him. He would be just one of many in Sky, only with bigger role in Ardennes possibly.

After following the lower-ranked races quite a bit, certainly one of the most important transfers this season imo:

Just another overrated Dutch young rider from the Rabo development squad that will never reach the potential many predict him.
Think Leezer, Vermeltfoort, Van Winden

CQRanking?
He has real potential. Can do bits of everything, solid TT, solid sprint, good on hills. A real solid talent.
Only worry is he might turn out as Coen Vermeltfoort. And chances of that are potentially high.

Just wanted to post Van Baarle's transfer, but already posted.
Agree with Alak here, the guy is really good and talented. I hope
Well, in my books, he's one of the most promising Dutch CT riders.
Can do everything except climbing. Hard to define if he's a TTist or a sprinter, recent results suggest that he's more focussed on sprinting lately. He's a sprinter who can survive hills better than the average sprinter, that's how I rate him atm. Interesting where he develops in, to me, I guess he will keep focussing on sprints.
I believe this guy is too talented to become a Vermeltfoort nr.2, but I might be too optimistic in that.
Garmin is an interesting team choice for him

I hope he's not one of the Dutch riders who peak on their 23th and don't make their predicted progress true |

Andrea Zordan signs with Androni for 2014.
Very big talent to keep an eye on.

Will be interesting. Not many, if any climbers joined OPQS ( Quickstep) to become better.
Brambilla is already prime example 13th last year in Giro, this year climbing...... on Cavendish's level.

At least he will improve his TT, like everybody coming there did.
