No attacks until last KM. Nowhere close IMO.
Meh, most attacks in this stage were Schleckish anyway. Looking behind and lasting just a few seconds. Sometimes a crazy pace killing everyone one by one is better, at least for me. Plus it had that ridiculous look which made it so fun.

UK Postal is not better at all. And once Uran, Henao, and Porte are back in form, only Pate can stop them forom the inside.

Time of Froome in great shape: 79 days (and beyond).
23. 21 days in the tour and the olympics. He sucked in Algarve, International and Romandie. Got in shape during the Dauphine.

Valverde was stronger then i thought, but maybe he will be dropped in the bigger mountains and Kessiakoff will follow Froome and Contador |

Valverde will bust sooner or later, that's for sure. He'll burn out completely if he tries to match Contador and Froome for three weeks, especially after already having done the Tour this year.

I don't think valv321 will like this.
111 | 142 | CATALDO, Dario | OPQ | + 6' 43'' |
Danny Pate is still not in the results sheet. He clearly finished ahead of everyone. The camera missed him because of his speed. No doubt about this.

I think riding the Tour might have a good influence on Valverde during this Vuelta because he hadn't raced for over a year so some extra race days can't hurt.
