Becca @Wort.lu:
“We have a contract with Mercedes which can be cancelled at any time under various circumstances, We will be equipped by Nissan as of 2012. I want to thank Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg and also Enovo. They believed in us and I think we gave them a lot of visibility.”
So just deciding to cancel the existing contract 2 years to early and then also think it`s just fair as Mercedes had a good visibility.
Hmm, yes, probably just fair...
I actually never heard of Becca before this fusion, but I start to really dislike him and his methods.
Even funnier the UCI comment:
UCI apparently not informed
The International Cycling Union issued a stiffly-worded announcement Wednesday evening concerning the new 2012 team, and indicated that it had not been informed beforehand. The UCI said that it “is aware of the information published in the media concerning the project”, and added that “the UCI has also learned from the same sources of the intention of the CSE Pro Cycling LLC – financial managers of the American team RadioShack – to give up the UCI WorldTour licence that it had been granted for the 2010-2013 period.
"The UCI is currently evaluating the information received and is not available to comment further at this time.”
Please, please let it be Pegasus 2.0.

Nygaard denies that he's on his way to GreenEdge.
So, who wants to bet that Nygaad will join GreenEdge within two weeks?

After publishing that voigte wont get a new contract, I dearly hope its gonna be Pegasus 2... And Becca is the man behind Leopard. He is involved in Property management and is one of the wealthiest people in luxemburg. Mind you, he was the man who gave Nygaard the opportunity (or should i say money?) to form Leopard. And now he ruins it. That team doesnt deserve to get any license!!!

This is Bruyneel's finest work. He's ruined the team before even touching it.

Ah, Longo's missed 3 controls, so she's in trouble now.
It's not as good as a positive test, but I still hope it'll lead to something. It's not like she's had a good reputation (doping-wise) for ages and ages. |

Whoever misses the tests three times should be banned for his/her stupidity.

Well, she should be old enough () to know that can't miss 3 controls. I would say: suspension and ban her to an elderly home!

Moncoutie is once again riding another year.
His goal for 2012 is the Vuelta record with 5 KoM wins.
Jose Luis Laguia also had 5 wins but not in a row. |

Australia have annonced their WC line up:
Elite Men
1. Jack Bobridge (Garmin Cervelo) TT
2. Simon Clarke (Astana) RR
3. Baden Cooke (Saxo Bank) RR
4. Simon Gerrans (Team Sky) RR
5. Matthew Goss (HTC-Highroad) RR
6. Heinrich Haussler (Garmin-Cervelo) RR
7. Mathew Hayman (Team Sky) RR
8. Stuart O'Grady OAM (Leopard Trek) RR
9. Richie Porte (Saxo Bank) TT
10. Michael Rogers (Team Sky) RR
11. Chris Sutton (Team Sky) RR
Reserves
* Adam Hansen (Omega Pharma-Lotto) RR
* Mark Renshaw (HTC-Highroad) RR
Looks like an good team but Rogers? Have he done any results this season? I kow he has been injured but I don't think he deserves to be selected.

My guess; internal politics.
On Renshaw's twitter profile:
Surprise surprise.... No world champs for me. Would like to say I understand but I don't. Guess I need to prove myself?

Even stranger is Rogers's include in the selected. He hasn't raced much after returning from that illness he had, back in May. |

Well the Dutch selection makes as much sense as trying to eat plastic.
Gesink, Poels, Mollema, Hoogerland, Terpstra and Boom + 3 others yet to be chosen.
So unless the Danish people decide to build a HC mountain a week before the worlds, there's not much chance for this team |
