I agree. Especially if you have a couple of national champs. and somebody in a race leader's jersey, because you can only have three setups. I've had that problem before. |

More information on a profile map.
like real life i fell the need to know the last (3-10 km), in general the profile map dose'nt help when finishing!
Real time classification.
Folow rider button, and not just in the sprint.
Anyway there is a long road to make this game 5* ( but i still playing )

You can also click space bar for a bigger profile view. For me it's enough to see the finish details.

The game has that. Once in a while you get this "Provisional Classement" or something like that.

That would indeed be awesome, especially for the mountains, but I'm hopeless of it appearing in the near future versions

The cover should be a picture with Evans in the middle and besides of him on the right Cav and on the left Gilbert!

We asked a while ago and was supposed to get an answer before the end of January, but didn't. Still working on it.
No console-interview just yet, though. Got a rejection for that one |

Something that has really started to annoy me lately is that the same people from every team seem to want to enter a break 3+ times, whereas in reality that just doesn't happen unless they are specifically chasing the mountain jersey. I would like a bit more variety in this.

i would like to have more points of view of the race. it would be nice if there is a way to split the screen in two or four windows (like mosaic distribution) each one with a different camera. |

Completely reworked managment part. I think the 3D is fine now. I just think the graphics in the game and some of the functions look childish and old. If they just copied the style from other manager games, made the same functions, details, information etc. it'd all be alot better.

It would be nice to have a game that didn't crash so often and in doing so spoil the entertainment value. |

Would be more realistic of you could crash or puncture in a TT or TTT, like Eisel in TDF, Cancellara in WCITT
Also mechanicals like Schleck 2010 TDF, Wiggins 2010 WCITT
The management needs revamping majorly. More options, more interaction more feedback. Everyone else covers everyhting.
Crazy idea, how about Cyanide just make a good, non-buggy game.....

You should be able to see the GC of the riders in the breakway, so you know whether to start putting in a chase
More mechanical problems would be good and more crashes
Every 5 races I get a crash and usually it's only 1 rider going down. There needs to be a few more I think |

You can, if you click the little box that shows the stats of the riders in-race. It also shows GC in there
But yeah, more crashes and punctures would be better, but make it easier to get back at certain points in each stage.

Nice spam
I'm currently trying to re-create the frontpage from PCM in a new design. Just for fun
While doing this and looking at my other manager games, you really see how different Cycling Manager is, and how much it's lacking in quality.

Haven't read this whole thread so sorry if this was said already.
I would like to see screenshots of the stage ingame when you pull up the profile with all the information of the stage. A few pics could show the types of roads and special features of a route which would be quite useful for people like me that have a very limited knowledge of geographic features in other countries. It also could easily show narrow roads that could create problems, which is always nice to know beforehand. I think it would add a nice touch to the overall appearance of picking out races for the year instead of quickly glancing at the profile and moving on.

Honestly I don't really see much use for this, it would be just a waste of space (imo). Types of roads? What do you mean, the type of line on it or if it's very dark black or gray (road texture)? Special features - can't think of anything which could be called a 'special feature'. The only thing which this could be useful for would be narrow roads, but then again the number of these are being limited day after day. As for geographic features, I'm not sure what you mean.
Now, thinking about the space this would occupy. Let's suppose the screens were similar to equipment _d files, which are about a screen's size and occupy (in a quick and 'crapy' average) 1 MB. If each stage had 4 screens, that's 4 MB per stage. In Daily's DB, there are 505 stages, that's 2 GB total. Add the variants (I've got 880 stages in my CM_stages folder, but there are even more variants now). Total = 3,5 GB. Either you didn't think on this part or I didn't understand your idea well enough to make it worth some more GBs

Ok, I get what your saying, my thoughts again. I honestly didn't know the equipment pics took up so much room But I was thinking maybe just 2 pictures and redo the whole interface of the stage overview screen. Because something needs to be updated and that is one area that hasn't seen change in a long time. So what I guess I'm getting at is adding a few pictures would add more detail resulting in a more in depth game. However if the pictures take up that much space, I can easily see where you are coming from. Either way I would like to see a update done to the layout of that screen, and possible a few other areas as well, as the game really lacks presentation in career mode that hasn't been changed in a few years. I hope that makes more sense.
