Hi All
The new year brings the impending start of the 2019 PCM Daily Velogames Championship.
Given the recent discussion in this thread on the recent lack of forum activity and the decrease in membership in general I though it would be good to drum up some support for the Velogames Championship from some of the long standing regulars of the forum who don't play at the moment.
The game has gone from strength to strength in the last 3 years, with its select group of hardcore players, which resulted in Ian Russell actually having some competition last season and Ember being crowned the 2018 Champion.
Anyway, the game is easy to participate in and isn't a major drain on your free time. Simply enter teams into the various Velogames competitions throughout the season, enter the PCMDaily League and score points to go towards the overall league table.
The game has seen a steady decrease in the number of players scoring points throughout the last 3 years and it would be good to increase the number of players and therefore the competition for the overall championship.

I was thinking that while I wrote the comment. Although I'm fairly sure I've never searched for large breasts on my work computer. I save that for home

Anybody else has been having problems to use the PCM Career Explorer? The issue may be linked to the fact that TiemenD's main site is down as well.

Mine is working. Not sure if this does anything, but in the config file you could try
<setting name="checkUpdates" serializeAs="String">
<value>False</value>
</setting>

I just paste this once I have opened the file in Notepad? Does it matter where?
EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm still using the one made for PCM15, which I can't download again as the main site is down. Downloaded the PCM18 one, didn't work either.
Running the .exe file doesn't open the program, the running icon shows up for a few seconds and then nothing happens.

If the old version you have contains the file Autoupdater.config, open that in notepad and change <Enabled>true</Enabled> to false.
I (also) have a later version without an Autoupdater.config and instead a PCM Career Explorer.exe.config - the lines I posted above are already in the file and again I suggest changing True to False. I can't promise it will work.

Tried that too, didn't resolve the issue, sadly. Any chance you could put the files of your CE in a zip folder and share them here please?

How odd. Maybe it's just your PC then? Check if your antivirus software has blocked it?

Thought that could be the issue too. I ran a virus scan, then tried adding the .exe file to the software's exceptions. The program still refuses to open.

Apologies for my absence, I’ve been checking daily whenever I’ve had the chance, glad to see reports are coming again now.
About to get hammered by a cyclone where I live on the Gold Coast over the next few days, a bit worried as it’s usually only northern Aus that ever has to worry about them. Nth Aus’ infrastructure is also built to withstand extreme weather like cyclones, ours isn’t. As well as the locals here having no idea how to prep for it. It’s gonna suck if it hits us. We only get bushfires and can get some pretty bad flooding every few years but that’s about it. See how we go I guess.

We had a pretty big tornado come through my town this past summer, and our infrastructure was not prepared. In the plains of the US they get them all the time, but we pretty much never do. Thankfully, since unlike the plains we are heavily wooded. So when it came, it did a ton of damage thanks to all the trees coming down. Several people in my town died, a lot of people lost their homes, and the power grid was down for weeks. Tons of roads were blocked, and it was impossible to get around for days afterwards. Our town is not made for that kind of weather, or the cleanup. I was very fortunate that my friends, family and I were okay, and I didn't lose anything significant.
Long story short, extreme weather is a lot worse when it is rare and unexpected.
