I'm not sure. Wouldn't his sickness have hurt him then and not as much now?

Just thinking about Landa´s Mountain stat and made some research (not a lot, just a bit).
If the TTT and ITT of this 2015 Giro d'Italia wouldn´t have been ridden (well said?), Landa would be 4 seconds ahead Contador in the General Classification.
So, is a 79 deserved? And a 80? Is that a lot, so he deserves 78?
Anyway, Aru can´t be much far from Mikel...

You cant calculate like that...Contador would have ridden different, if Landa would be a threat(if there would be not TTs)

Yeah, that's like giving people race wins when the winner is caught doping. It's not necessarily valid because the racing itself would have been much different.

But f.e. In the Contador-Schleck case its valid, since no-one could match those two.

Do you mean recovery or resistance? If recovery then its pretty high and should be at least 80. Endurance is really more for classic's men. |

With everybody talking about the climbers what's the general opinion of the top sprinters at the Giro?
Before the Giro I had these four like so but as the Giro has gone on Modolo does seem to be the fastest:
Sprint (Acceleration)
Modolo 78 (77)
Nizzolo 78 (78)
Viviani 79 (78)
Mezgec 78 (78) |

I mean resistance. He attacked on Tuesday (45k before finish) and today (43k before finish) and most of the time he rode alone or with 2-3 other guys. I'm just curious, what would be the impact on RES in the game ? |

It's hard to tell. Modolo been doing very well, but he also has the best leadout men and that has really shown.

Res is the least discussed stat in the game and from my understanding, it's a rider's ability to maintain a high effort (yellow bar) for a longer period of time and I think also when riding alone or in a very small group or a long period of time. Of the GC guy's Contador's is probably the highest anyway at 75.

I agree with Modolo's leadout team being easily the best here. |

Mezgec should probably be lowered by 1 i would say, has been quite unimpressive the whole season. |

I think that´s not only Mezgecs fault, I have the feeling that Giants train is a bit worse than last year

That may be true, but that also might be grounds to lower him. His train last year was very good because they were supposed to have Kittel. We're seeing this year what he's really capable of.

just seen that Kochetkov is very low in Mountains (60), and I´m pretty sure I´ve seen him attacking on a climb at a WT Race...so he might need an update?
And again he goes on the hard climbs.
Bonbus is that the guy even had top placings in Romandiet and San Luis KoMs.
Guess you are corect. He needs a slight increase in Mtn. At least I agree

Now we have seen over three weeks that Landa is better than Contador in the mountains - do you now think that he should be 80-81 in mtn? If no, then there is something wrong with you guys |
