9/10 That song and in general that album are absolutely breathtaking, the first part of Storm is probably 11/10 and so are the closing notes of Antennas to Heaven. One of my favourite winter time records.
And talking about winter time records, straight from what I think is Springsteen's magnum opus:
6.5/10 Alright song but I just never really found myself loving it as I feel like I've heard a lot of similar songs.
Here's a really underrated band I found about half a year ago and still love with a very unique (if weird) style, hope there's no problem posting two songs.
I feel this thread doesn't work quite as well with broken youtube embedding
Avicii seems to appeal to a lot of people that otherwise shun or don't get EDM. I've always liked him but there was a lot of repetition across his whole library, luckily he could write solid lyrics and produce songs that used the vocal skills of others rather than repetitive synth beats.
8/10 for Without You, good lyrics and vocals and whilst there's repetitive synth usage it's minimal. Personally my favourite is Waiting For Love.
And because i'm unashamedly basically still a mid-00's US college kid (despite never actually being one) here's some Paramore
Back in the day I used to listen to 'Misery Business' all the time. This song is a bit different from that, haha, but nevertheless a good track from Paramore. Hayley Williams still has a great voice, and is nicely supplemented by the funky riffs and catchy chords during the verses. The chorus I find a bit more cheesy and forgettable, but overall I'm feeling a decent to strong 7/10.
Next is an instrumental chillwave track from an artist I came across on SoundCloud a little while ago: https://www.youtu...U9cH9n29qk
Disappointing that the YouTube embedder is still broken. Even the rating system for that matter . Anyways, I like Post Malone a lot and think that was a solid cover! I'll give it 7/10. Let's go with this one:
PCM.Daily NFL Fantasy Football Champion: 2012 PCM.Daily NHL Prediction Game Champion: 2013 PCM.Daily NFL Prediction Game Champion: 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2021
Kanye is a musical genius, and his new album just confirms that.
I think this song deserves a solid 8/10.
I would to like present one of the most talented EDM artists out there, Illenium. I just love his melodic type of trap/dupstep. https://www.youtu...bZ_j8GHUX0
'Future bass' has become a very bloated genre lately, but Illenium manages to stand out a bit with his great chord structures, melodies and incorporation of orchestral elements and guitars. Still, he needs to come up with something else soon as his songs is beginning to sound a bit formulaic imo. Nevertheless a good mashup and Afterlife is probably my favorite song from him, so I'll give it an 8/10.
