I'd prefer to see Bakelants at Lotto. He could lead them in the Ardennes and some one-week races, whereas he'd be stuck behind Uran, Kwiatek and Stybar with OPQS.

I prefer De Gendt at OPQS, they can use another time trialist after the departure of Chava and Velits.
Now you mention it, it's indeed better that way.
I think both De Gendt and Vanendert have difficulties with being absolute leader. With De Gendt at OPQS, he'll be able to ride in the shadows of guys like Uran and Kwiatkowski. And with Bakelants at LTB, he can take part of the pressure away from Vanendert. |

Yates and his twin Adam will turn professional next year, but not with Team Sky. Both have reportedly signed with Australian team Orica-GreenEdge, which Yates wouldn’t confirm, but Wiggins did.
He said: ‘He’ll be a pro next year, not with Sky unfortunately — I don’t know why.’
Yates brothers certainly are smart to choose OGE, stay away from the British media a lot more instead if they rode at Sky, plus be given few more chances already in their first year. And of course, well done to OGE by getting them on board it seems!
Although to be fair, I can already see Porte for the Yates twins in two years move happening.
Anyway, great move both for the twins and for the their new team.

Top-talents at Sky don't work out: Hagen, Lovkvist.
Bottle-carriers on the other hand...

Everybody seems to have forgotten about John-Lee Augustyn, who seemed very promising years back. He joined Sky in 2010, but they put him on such a hectic training schedule that an injury he got in 2009 was worsened even more. Now he's retired

Tbh, neither Kiryienka nor Lopez has really improved since joining Sky - they've stayed on more or less the same level as before

But that doesn't mean they didn't work out.

JTL is a Brit, we didn't hear much about him since he joined Sky, even though British media hyped him as if he was the British Gilbert. |

Am I the only one who thinks that Lopez Garcia has improved a bit this year...? He's been doing great this year, except the Tour, iirc. As a domestique that is. |

Lopez has always been a top-mountain domestique. And his current CQ-total is 2 above last years total which was his worst since 2006.
But I actually also felt he improved, probably he's more in the 'spotlight' riding at Sky.
Edit: and the Sky-train also means he's always at the front

Having that feeling too... especially in the Paris-Nice this year i thought he was riding suspeciously well. Probably because of topping form early season...
